Why are you using the Internet? Don't you know, the Internet is a means of communications for terrorists? It was also created by the US Military, so I would be careful.

I would also stay away from movies and music, since the *AA are being such dicks, and stay away from TV, because TV makes America stupid, and stay away from games, because gaming makes little kids shoot each other, and stay away from clocks, because clocks can be used to trigger bombs, and stay away from computers, because they can be used to solve equations to increase the efficiency of nuclear bombs.

Also, while you're at it, stay away from people, because they can do those calculations in their heads. Be a lone amish person.

EVERYTHING can be used as a weapon, even your fists, so cut your hands off too. We, the people, of the technology industry of America, do not support what the military may or may not do with our technologies in regards to killing people. We are in the technology industry because we like doing what we do, and it helps more people out that just the military. The military is helped out by scientists of every kind, genetically engineered food, for instance, can be used to feed troops cheaply and easily, and it can also help out starving children all over the world.

All except the newest, "Stranger's Wrath" which I quite obviously categorized as full fledged action game (you are in first person shooting a crossbow most of the time).

I then popped over to GameSpot to see what they categorized them as. "Action"... okay... and Stranger's Wrath? ADVENTURE! What?

IGN has some listed as Platformer, some as Adventure, some as Action/Adventure... okay I'm completely confused now.

What is an Adventure game? One of those point and click games such as Day of the Tentacle? Is that all is considered "Adventure"?

It seems like just a below par Sci-Fi film with Harrison Ford in it. I don't say this because it is "different" from most Sci-Fi films, my earlier recommendation of Brazil is different from every Sci-Fi film I know of, and it's probably my favorite movie.

Blade Runner just seemed to be empty to me, it seemed more like a sci-fi/noire film mixed together, and it didn't work for me. Dark City did a better job of that.

I have to disagree. I saw AI, and it was not "beautiful". It was not only boring, but the story was horrible, and the scenes were dull. I even like the majority of what Kubrick puts out.

The "copyright infringement" approach would be someone paying to get in, taking pictures of everything (with "no pictures" signs hanging up on the wall), and renting a building or something where they blow up their pictures to the actual size and make an exact copy of the art gallery and charging nothing for people to come in, without the same people that are actually IN the art gallery, only some of your friends (no network play, only LAN games ;)).

The whole purpose of these laws are not merely to compensate the 'victim', but to dissuade people commiting the offense in the first place.

Okay, then $50 (and maybe say $30 extra) for the game goes to the company, and the other "deterrent fee" goes to the government. None of this "I deserve $200k" bullshit from the companies.

If you think this is unfair to the businesses, making them less likely to take people to court, well, that's the case with all civil cases. My dad owned a car lot and still has people that owe money on their cars. They aren't paying and the only thing he can do is take them to court and get a court order to get them to pay, and when they don't, they get thrown in jail for disobeying the court. He's not going to do that though considering the thousands of dollars the lawyer would cost him, and the zero gain he will get out of it.
