Eudora can do this. Make a new filter with the action to Make Personality. I have over 10 different from addresses all automatically set based on the incoming mail, whether it be the headers or the contents or both.
This whole argument makes no sense. Chicago made who knows how many millions in the theaters at it's first run, and second run even, they've already broken even on the movie. An album doesn't get a chance to make it's money back BEFORE it hits the consumer format.
AOL CD's are sent presort standard and if you write refused/deceased/etc. on it and put it back in your mailbox, it will get recycled by the post office. I'm a letter carrier. No junk mail ever gets returned to the sender. See:
I have a Pioneer LD-W1 laserdisc player that can switch 4 sides without having to get up. I find these days LaserDiscs are really best for getting old Criterion editions of movies they don't have the rights to anymore and getting the commentaries or extras that were produced that they won't give up. Also, you can't beat the big covers.
"Fortunately, the CC company ate the costs instead of sticking them on my friend, but he had to fight like hell for a while to get them to do it."
Not true! The CC company just collects fees from the merchants and then charges back the merchants for the goods. The store loses the money and the product. Because of this, the credit card companies have no incentive to ever fix this problem. It's really frustrating.
Everyone is complaining that voting in your home is bad. why then is no one challenging Oregon's 100% mail in ballots? Or the fact that many states of absentee ballots as a default? I got my ballot in the mail, and that's just as dangerous as a password of some kind.
Does anyone else think Madonna could totally win the election if she ran? I mean, all kinds of people would vote for Madonna, just because people like celebreties more than politicians.
Wells Fargo has excellent on-line services, ranging from on-line account access (for my business and personal accounts, credit cards, they can do mortgages and student loans on-line too, and merchant services). They also have an on-line brokerage though I've never used it. I've also used it from Netscape/Linux with no problem, and most Mac browsers. Their operation seems cool, read this article:
We use Signio...I mean VeriSign payment services, they are really good. flat monthly fee, really good and easy API that can also support checks and corporate cards if you like. They support all kinds of platforms, and they even have a pure java client. They process very quickly too..
We also use Wells Fargo for the acquiring bank which doesn't do a per transaction fee.

how does having extra digits make it harder to steal? it's just like a longer CC number. the sites will still need to keep all the numbers if they wanna do anything like easy checkout or recurring billing.
A zone chart subscription in a clearly documented format is available for $50 a year here:
http://www.usps.com/ncsc/addressmgmt/zonechart.htm
We use it for our rate calc, in fact it's all local based calculation since the rate tables are public:
http://www.usps.com/prices/downloadable-pricing-files.htm
I understand that using the API means no work when there is a rate change, but the rates change 1-2 a year with 60 days notice. Not a huge deal.

Yeah for Eudora, the mail client with option-click to automatically group messages by whatever you click on. It's the best thing...ever.
I've been using it since 1994 and can't imagine switching to anything else.

When are they gonna learn that tape-based mediums are obsolete? No one wants to rewind or fast-forward or deal with the physical tape wearing out.
I hate tape.
