Of course you can reconstruct any information that flows across a network thay you have access to. That is unless it's encrypted and you don't know the key.

Why not put up a couple of servers of different types on an isolated network at the school and then let the students bang on that. At least they would be able to go through the logs of the servers in question legally. Also, they could packet capture the entire event and review in class.

However, time travel *is* possible in a theoretical sort of way. Time slows down as you approach the speed of light. This has been proven many times. If you took a ride on a rocket that traveled 3/4 the speed of light and whent in one direction for 6 months, then turned around and came back, you would have only aged a year but time on earth would have gone by MUCH faster. You have in a sense, traveled to the future. Good luck getting home though.....
If IBM was really worried about keeping Apple, they would have certainly let them know this was coming down the pipe. Besides, Apple can always switch back if they really wanted to.....

It's hard to describe those comics to non-french speakers, because the french-speaking comic culture is vastly more diverse, mainstream and serious than in other languages (either manga or US comics), and this precise type of comic has no equivalent.

I don't have a problem with your views on the two senators from that state but the items listed about the Mormons are incorrect. I am sure there are a few small minorites who still wed multiple spouses, however it hasn't been church doctrine since 1895.
That comparison you made would be like saying "(All) Catholic priests molest young boys.", which simply isn't true.
As for your comment on ``...a constitutional ammendment that is so religiously based...'' there are plenty of laws that are imposed by a religious
majority on the public. The ``blue'' laws in the south for instance.
Until software companies will devote serious time to making sure their products aren't vulnerable like this, we will continue to see these types of monkey business.

The security and system admin folk at Verizon goofed. They shoudln't have allowed the use of ``null'' in the first place.
