I didn't really mind the first two movies. You could tell that they were leading up to some sort of finale with the details surrounding Anakin's turn to the dark side. They were not instant gratification movies and I don't think they were meant to be either.
True, some parts/characters could have been left out of the final production but it/they didn't take so much away from the movies that it rendered the movies horrible.
Most of the exploits are not Mac specific. They are UNIX specific. Also, most of the holes are rediculously difficult to exploit making it very hard for your average script kiddie to root the machine.
You've obviously bever tried to get off the blacklist, have you? I just moved to a new web server and my mail server is served off a shared IP (web host company) and I've been trying for 4+ months to have my email allowed through their system. I can't send my kids (who use AOL) email.
AOL sounds all concerned when you contact them but they don't do anything about it.
I have a hard time believing he didn't understand the possible repercussions of his actions in this case.
You're right. This couldn't happen to anyone. For him to do what he did, Sunny needed to willfully create and make available the image. He signed (either electronically or physically) an NDA to get the early release so he has no excuse whatsoever.
Evidently, anytime the issue of net filtering is mentioned on/. the 1st amendment crowd starts hootin' and hollerin' about rights, etc.
You make a very good point. Net access is not a right and the State of Texas providing a free service to the public does not constitute the establishment of a new right. Also, you're right about libraries. They don't stock hard-core porn so why should they provide it via the internet? If someone desperately needs porn they should go buy it with their own money.
One thing that both of these have in common is they are both services provided to the public free of charge with tax payer money. I would not want to fund the porn addiction of some trucker driving through my state.
are recorded in briefcase-sized black boxes that can be retrieved and studied in the wake of a crash.

Instead, flight data is continuously beamed to Earth using satellites - a stream that stops abruptly during a catastrophe like the break-up of the shuttle Columbia in February 2003.
I think maybe it is you who needs to re-read the article.
There's got to be a beacon incorporated into the design because if that thing (30 cm.) lands in a very deep spot in the ocean it's going to be hard to find!
What I did to combat annoying advertisements was to install AdZapper on my Smoothwall box. I rarely see any ads (including Flash-based ads). Plus my pages load a lot faster since I don't have to wait for 3rd party links to respond.
three hypotheses: (1) that we can do a whole lot to adjust Lastly, Japanese experts halved the effective hard disk throughput of Intel's mobile telephones.
Actually, I was in the market anyway for a new computer and had done a little bit of research on the Mac before the conference. But it wasn't until I went to the conference that I decided to purchase one.
Seriously, though, I have several Intel boxes and my Mac is solid.

Last year's Usenix conference was full of Powerbooks. Most of the top dogs in the industry. That prompted me to buy a PowerMac. It's the best computing decision I've ever made.
The only thing that's wrong with it on the Mac is the lack of support for the middle button. Middle-button-click-load-in-the-background is invaluable to me. I use it constantly while in Windows at work (Firefox).
BTW, the middle button is supported in Safari and Camino.

It looks like a skin for WindowBlinds.
They are chasing after someone elses broken wind...
Why does it feel like our scientists are just chasing after the wind when it comes to the search for life on Mars?
But, virtually every law has its origins in morality. The two cannot be separated.
Sys admin tools? Whatever. The only thing you'll find on sites blocked that contain these "tools" are warez, cracks and serial numbers.

That's a good point. It would still need to be strong and heat resistant.
But if the transmitter is damaged you'll still have to go find it.

The new company should be called SoftCone.
It's actually a very solid and stable computer. I'm a Unix weenie so having a BSD flavor under the hood was extremely appealing.

He was turned into a newt but he got better.
I grabbed today's build and couldn't find anything in the preferences to configure the middle button. The Mozilla build works but not Firefox.
