Yeah, but Kevin Smith also thought Revenge of the Sith was awesome, so I would take his reviews with a grain of salt.

  2. What about CDMA phones? on iPhone Antitrust and Computer Fraud Claims Upheld · · Score: 3, Interesting

Wouldn't this ruling apply to Verizon phones also? They're technologically the same as sprint phones, but if you switch from Verizon to Sprint or vice-versa, you can't use your phone on that new network. What's the difference between that situation and wanting to use the iPhone on t-mobile?

agreed. one of the tests to see if you built a lightsaber properly is to hold the blade near your hand and see if it emits heat. if it does not, you've built it properly. (i believe that was in one of the jedi academy books)

  4. Re:What exactly is this hurdle Blizzard speaks of? on No WoW for the 360 · · Score: 1

the porting isnt the hurdle they were talking about, the hurdle was that xbox live only works with xbox live, and they want for people playing WoW on the 360 to be able to play with people who play WoW on their computers and not xbox live. PS2 didnt have this problem with FFXI because the PS2 doesnt have anything like xbox live, it just connects to the internet.

i think nintendo realizes that the base of gamers that made mario and zelda and metroid household names are growing up, so they're starting to cater to them again instead of hooking new younger fans with more childish games.

  12. Re:As much as I like GTA... on NY Post Says GTA Worse Than Molesting · · Score: 1

the difference between games that simulate violence and games that simulate child molestation and rape is that violence is one of the most basic instincts in humans, whereas child molestaion is most definately not. violent video games act as a stress relief for a lot of people, and as just normal fun for others. if you kill or hurt a video game character there is a sense of "take that!" thats not there when you hurt a living person. normal people will not get any such feeling from molesting a virtual child, or raping a virtual woman. bottom line is that violence is a basic human response, and child molestation is not.
