...it's all well and good that they can make tiny robots etc etc, but can they PLEASE make a printer that doesn't...
a) print 10 full colour pages and run out of ink b) flash all sorts of error lights when it feels like it despite there being no problem c) report paper jams constantly....then i'll be happy for them to make flying pigs for me....
...The iMeson... massively expensive, but only the weight of one tiny Helium Atom! Fits right into your back pocket and kicks the butt out of Windows XP!
What's that you say? "Not Possible"?! Well of course it is, Steve Jobs swears by it, and more to the point, keeps one in his back pocket at all times! How can you refuse?!
Buy it now at the Apple Store (nowhere else as we're a monopoly - the good kind) for only $49999.99!
You can tell direction, that's why ears have a specific shape...to capture the front sounds mainly........... and hence why blind people are much more apt at telling where someone is...
Play a game with decent surround sound and you'll be able to tell direction of things front and back straight off.
It may be apparently 'antiquated' or whatever, but it's probably best to find a trustworthy friend/person who you can post written blog entries down, and get them to update it for you... as far as photos go, be a good, disciplined person and restrict photos as if it were film, buy 2 or 3 cards, send the memory card back to your mate every month or so, and get them to send you the other card back...... it's a method i was considering when I was looking at going travelling.
It's the best low-tech way and really stops you from sitting on messengers/slashdot for ages in net cafes when you could be trekking through hills.
Also what is to stop a group of gamers setting up their own leagues, much like the PC world.
The main problem with the Xbox Live world is that there's no real 'personal' interface... on the PC world you can make webpages for leagues etc... Xboxes you can keep a client running and write the scores etc down on a web page, but the integration is obviously nil........ we just have to wait for developers and M$ to embrace the technology more. I've yet to see someone set up their own gaming server for Xbox live, and it's a shame that this isn't easier.... just look at what 'anyone, anywhere' server setting up allowances did to help Counterstrike/HL and Quake PC get HUGE audiences...
From what I remember, Microsoft refused to fully support PNGs properly because they had some moaning fit about it and said it was crap.. blah blah blah....... trying to keep it out the market
Rez... massively overlooked games, possibly one of the best games to have ever emerged on the console... and looked a million times more crisp and sexy than on the PS2....
I hear chapter 7 deals with the trials and tribulations and ways of dealing with the problems of of having no/losing all face to face friends during the process of playing UO.
Chapter 8 then reconsiles the importance of having a suitable sized cod piece and the advantage of choosing a fair, blonde maiden over a one eyed ogre. For starters, the maiden will cook and shop for you and save all those important rupees so you can get the Almagamationatorium Potion.
The final chapter has a hidden knife in it and via subliminal messages convinces the reader that their life is shit and pointless and that they need to kill themselves.
It's a great read. I haven't got to the last chapter yet and have only read the summary, but it sounds greaaaaat!
No, he's right. Lets ban CD burners and also obliterate just CDs in general because you can lend them to your mates. I also think harddisks sohuld be illegal, as they aid this massive problem of 'piracy'.
Ahem.

Does this work for deaf people?
I'll be dissapointed if there's no accessiblity features for the deaf.

Dissapointingly no, I felt let down by the omission of the peripheral ;-)

Lovely visuals, great sound, vastly addictive.
Beautiful. Never sold though...
Did you manage to find the 'on' button on the linux box in the end?

Move away sire, I was first. I will now slay you with my mighty 1044hp sword.

...I better make the obligatory comment....
"Cor, at least it's not IIS... we'd be having thousands of bugfixes. Damn M$."
