maybe this does mean a Powerbook G5. kind of. Maybe Intel will start making PPC chips that are superior to current IBM made G5s. they then make further power consumption improvements and size improvements to put shiny fast new chips in powerbooks.
this would be awesome as I am looking into getting a powerbook and this would make current powerbooks much cheaper. though I doubt I can wait til 2006 for a powerbook....
I'm sure you're joking but in all actuality there is no law against selling PG-13 tickets to this "minor minor" (that I know of, and I'm a Box Office Cashier at the local Cinemark), so he could still get in.
This movie is different from the books (have read). And the radio show (haven't heard). And the miniseries (have seen). Duh. DNA wanted them to be different. I, for one, think it was too different though. Way too off. Lots of things were better explained in the books and show. The towel for one. And the entry for Earth. Ok You could leave the Earth bit out, but the towel thing? How can you make the audience know it is very important without telling them why? Anywho, fans of the other mediums that tell similar stories will probably be dissapointed. Others will enjoy it for the most part. As the projectionist that previewed the movie along with three other people that knew nothing of the other mediums that tell similar stories, I can tell you for a fact that two out of those three people did infact enjoy the movie. They thought it was quite humorous. The other thought it was stupid. Also having worked in the box office on friday night, I can say that for a "stupid" movie it did better than anything else in the theatre. And we have 11 other movies to choose from.
Could it be as bad as the British TV series was. Wow was that terrible. Cheezy and bad. Still worth watching once for laughs. The books though, I could read over and over.
I'm a projectionist for cinemark and have worked for them for well over a year. I work in one of their newest theaters and can tell you for a fact that 95% of movie theaters are not equipped for one digital projector, let alone many. only the newest built theaters are being set up to have a digital one. very few of those are ever going to get one too. cinemark is just too cheap for that.
I don't believe he should be charged at all. I know I wasn't even though I could have been charged with a felony when I was caught "trying to hack the network" at school. I got 27 days in the Alternative Education Program which is really for all the kids doing drugs and fighting. Also I couldn't touch a computer in the district again. I'm sure the kid actually knew what he was doing though but I didn't. A friend and I were simply doing port scans so we could find a way out of thier internet blocks to work on our website (I didn't have a home connection at the time). We were in no way tring to get into the network yet when we told the principal this he believed we flat out lied to his face. All that aside, the kid shouldn't get criminally punished because it could ruin his life. He needs correction though, just not jail time.
I have a SP1 system with whatever ie version comes with it with only the default settings in it and I couldn't run the active x things at all because if the *deafault* security settings
I do use FF though so I'm just peachy

It's during a time when the theatre would otherwise be idle... Not only that but, as a worker for a Cinemark, I can tell you that box office sales go straight to the movie makers not to the theatre. Theatres make thier money on concessions not on ticket sales. The money they charge spectators is all thiers after and licensing they might need to get.
yay!

If we could mod down articles we'd rarely see any articles on the page for longer than a few minutes.
