    You are aware exercising constitutionally granted authority is NOT grounds for impeachment, right?

    Besides, if it's important enough, they'll put together a budget that 2/3 of Congress can agree and then a veto doesn't matter.

    I'm working on the assumption that the computing power of the newest supercomputers dwarves that which has gone before...

    While both 'dwarfs' and 'dwarves' are commonly used pluralize the noun dwarf, 'dwarves' doesn't quite work for the verb form.

    For example, "Even though he's only five feet tall, Bobby dwarfs the dwarves."

    and FYI my firefox spell checker doesn't like 'dwarves'. It also doesn't like 'firefox' in lowercase.

    And while I'm at it, let me apologize for a mostly useless contribution to the discussion.

    The online gambling ban is effectively worse than a tariff. At least with a tariff you can still sell goods to the target market, you just get hit with a markup. The online gambling ban completely outlaws competition with the casinos in the US.

    Every so often I see a golden example of why I would need a lawyer, rather than representing myself were I to land in court. While the distinction is obvious once you point it out, I thought the exact same thing as a dozen other posters on this thread.

    I use a similar argument when people make fun of the "Most people think they are above average drivers" bit. We might (mostly) be right.

    I'm sometimes amazed that people have trouble with this idea, but no difficulty understanding how 1 strong student can blow the grading curve.

    It looks like that first number is a pre-deduction paycheck, issued twice monthly. I came to that number by doing the math once (57000 / 2375 == 24), and by noticing that all the cents are either .00, .33, or .67

    Absolutely. Hillary doesn't have an agenda other than getting elected. She'll take whatever issue is popular at any given moment and run with it.

    While I, like you, am no Hillary fan, I don't quite see disaster pending if she's what we get stuck with.
