Should be http://new.3dhardware.net/reviews/dti18/ (no link cause the slashcode is killing my HTML [see http://slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=00/07/23/16724 1&cid=6])
Something in the slashcode is broken... i used (/a) [with the pointy things instead of parentheses (sp?)] bt it insered a space between the / and the a.
becuase all the images have been removed (except macjunkie) Someone else had a mirror of the CRT (BTW, why the hell is apple still designing 17inch CRTs? they claim to be a graphics professional choice but no real graphics pro would use something that small [except maybe in dualhead]) but i wanna see the flatpanel (maybe it has as bad of a viewing range as the 22" one).
Not quite... its works on sand (because you can hold it half a cm off the surface) and gravel (intermittently). And cheese pizza for the same reason as sand.
First off, its not the old kind with the funky mousepad... it takes 1500 pictures per second and compaares each pic with the previoud one using its own onboard 18MIPS processor. Secondly, it would work on a glass table (i dont know why, but i just tested it and it does).
By doing a little guesswork (changing "sm" to "lg" in the url) i got the hi-res version. By 10 PM pst, July 1, a mirror will be up at http://www.fleacircus.org/~mdue ll/405divx_lg_v2.avi. Its a great movie and it looks even better.
A friend and i were looking into OCing his dual celery system and we also came across fluroinert. We call some local shops that were listed to have it and almost wet our pants when we heard the price. 27USD/lb didnt sound bad, but then the kicker came in. Minimum order: 20 pounds (which is also 1 gallon, so this stuff is really dense, more about this later).
We decided that we, being two high school students, couldnt afford this, so we did the next best thing. We called 3M Industrial Specialty Fluids directly and asked for a sample (for a science project:). They said they had to ship it ground, because for some reason, the FAA wont let in an airplane. Lo and behold, a few days later, a well packedged box arrived from 3M Industrial Specialty Fluids. Inside was a 4oz glass bottle of the stuff. We knew this wasnt near enough for what we wanted to do (submerge an enitre system) so we left it in the bottle, and to this day, it still sits in my room, unopened.
This sutff is pretty neat. Inside the bottle, you can tell it flows almost as easily as water, yet weighs about 3 times as much. Also, the reason its so expensive is that the manufacturing process is very dangerous. Before another chemical is added to neutralize it, it gives off very posionus, flammable fumes. Also, if you heat it to is boiling point (293-473K) it puts off those same fumes.
You can always get it from EBworld.com here. It says it will ship within 24 hours, so the must have lots in stock. (Also, limit of 4/person/day) However, the page looks pretty hastily put up (Game title repeated three times in a row, two different ways [II instead of 2]).
Hehe, its kinda funny that under the catagory "EBWorld.com customers who bought this item also bought:" they include The Sims (i thought that game was for little kids, D2 is rated M)
OK, well, that only uses 150,000 people. India currently has near (over?) a billion people and by 2005 they are expected to have 1.8 billion people. So even though a dorito chip is only 1/8th of an inch thick, a little quick math shows us that this is 18750000 feet (20+ times 170 miles) and it would be even taller (by a few feet) since the top person(s) can stand up straight. So yes, it is feasible.
Yeah, i thought that tiff was a bit large too... in fact, im still downloading it... they need some more bandwidth (remember that company with the bandwidth farms idea?)... 10k/sec on cable sucks...

and ask the C/C++ teacher for some first year students programs. They do all kinds of things, including BSOD. Seriously though, this happened at the jr college i went to. (I was at the time in the 8th grade and i knew more than most the people in the class...)
Ummm... i just looked at my post and realized that the Mozilla people did something weird. All the other news items are dated in the format Month/Day/Year... When is the 27th month?
Just came up on http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/mileston es/: Update 27/5/99 Please note, the dates for M17 on this document are incorrect. It is unlikely that M17 will be released earlier than two weeks from today. These dates will be updated shortly.

ack... that should read:
The correct URL is http://new.3dhardware.net/reviews/dti18/For some reason it requires the / at the end.
I guess I should use preview.

You could probably post it _in_ the black hole (you know, around the inner edge, facing in so you can read it when you inside) using IMPS :)
The above is only becuase your subject contained monkeys and your comment didnt.

Becuase if Dell or Compaq or Sony tried to make one that looked the same, Apple would sue for "look and feel". Duh!

And to think, a week ago i got 128MB for $100

Simple... get a small styrofoam (sp?) cup of LN2 from your neighborhood chemical shop and place it in the bottom of you case.

What was Rainbow Warrior? I've seen a few posts mentioning it, but no details :(

And besides NASA couldn't crash them even if they wanted -- you see, space is big and spacecraft are very small...
:)
But, NASA is very talented, so anything could happen
