to be honest i would rather have a kiosk that has the only software on it being run is the software that is needed to view the image from the mri machine, no commercial os, no other software running on it behind the scenes.
yup.. this is another item to put into the bin of items that prove the world will be better off if we kill ourselves off as quickly as possible. honestly how long till our short sighted nature and idiotic religious notions that all of the life on this planet is ours to do with as we please kills us and takes most if not all of this planet with us.
as for the idiotic reply this post will get about 'removing myself first' well you lead the way and i promise I'll follow:)
yea it's basicly too hard for me to bother with(basicly no time, full time job and i would rather not spend my weekends to get it working) so i just don't even try to get it to work on my laptops. i do somthing novel with them, i shut them off when not in use.
to put it bluntly the majority of the party is left over from the first attempt of corporations to take control of the government, thats what most of their ideals lead too. a win for them and a loss for the people at large. though this was before they found it just cheaper and easier to just buy off both the republican and democratic candidates so they don't have to care who wins.
i think the documentary 'hacking democracy' basically proves that it really doesn't matter who you vote for now. those that want to win can and will hack to make it so they can. Lady's and gentlemen, we have moved from the ballot box to the soapbox and many of us will soon be taking out the ammo box i hope if things get worse.
yea these guys are bad and should be kicked out. but thats only half the problem. as long as we allow the federal reserve(which not federal at all but a private bank) control our nations money flow we won't be fixing the whole problem and someone else will just do what bush is doing.
not to mention gallium is mainly a by-product of aluminum production. aluminum is very energy intensive to produce, so much so that plants have to put next to hydro-plants or other power plants to get enough power.
umm since when is truth considered neutral? if they are striving to be the best source of information then there information has to be true, yet how can their information be true if they take a neutral stance on everything. this means they must artificially inflate once side of a debate or another beyond what the evidence backs up to maintain this artificial view point.
yea but that still doesn't detract from the fact that someone who knows absolutely nothing about the subject can edit it two minutes later and have his stuff stay because it 'sounds better'. more people does not make it better past a certain point, please look up the law of diminishing returns for further information.
Stallman is a idealist, they don't really have too much contact with reality. there is a saying that a idealist rides on the shoulders of a pragmatist/realist. in this case, because stallman's ego is ridding on the people who use linux. the majority of whom just use it because it's the best tool for the job(like me) don't really care about how using binary drivers that i can't see the inside of or signed code that i can't get access too as long as they work and work good violate his idea of freedom. because of this his ego gets inflated and he thinks he actually matters when in reality his idealism turns people off, while there may be people who follow him because they too believe what he believes, they are the minority. for example, debain, they were the only ones to get into a nit fit and fork Firefox because *gasp* they changed the rules on how one should distribute their trademarked image.
don't bet on it. the dems are just as corrupt as the repubs, just bought out by different people. the third party's are no help either because they aren't allowed in the big leagues unless they sell out too. at this stage of the game it's best to lay low and let the storm pass rather then stand up and get hit by a flying billboard/
and that mistake is that he/she did not make as many copy's as possible to distribute them to as many journalists as possible. heck i would of done that and put it up on a few Usenet sites.
they got a popular unix/bsd based os. one that has obvious advantages over windows. they could get allot of the market share if only they unchain their os from what is basically atm a proprietary system even though it does use standard hardware more or less.
no they are bitching and moaning because ms tried to lock them out. all this 'security feature' you clam they are disabling does is prevent third party apps from dong what they have always done to try to secure the os while letting ms's products in with no restrictions. this was a lock out plain and simple. i am glad the eu has the balls to stand up and tell ms they crossed the line here.
no. it's called keeping it as simple as possible. it's impossible to make a full featured os like linux/unix/macos/windows etc bug free.
to be honest i would rather have a kiosk that has the only software on it being run is the software that is needed to view the image from the mri machine, no commercial os, no other software running on it behind the scenes.
it's a new form of nag-ware.
'play me or your brain will rot!'
when simply reading a book, etc will do the same for allot less money.
no it doesn't favor them. it is just plain cheaper to implement as little as possible in hardware.
it was vaporware like this is.
call me when you have a physical cpu using this.
on a side note i thought that quantum physics stated that if you measured a photon it changes, so shouldn't that wreck anything using this?

deal without flash and java(or deal with a buggy wrapper). also use a little extra hd space for emulation libs you can live in 64bit land.

basically final fantasy 11 but single player, new story, and a customizable ai?
hmm the only one i see who is astro turfing is you.
from the pirate bay.
i have to say i see why they did not want it shown. it scratchs the surface of a whole bunch of problems.

the latter. because it's illegal to have the former.

chemicals that react the same way estrogen does?

nah i wouldn't want steam to become the first spyware for linux(look up what it does with epp1 installed)
