If you put all the algae in one place, couldn't I set it on fire and destroy the world economy completely?
Don't be dependent on flammable, easily accessed materials.
I like AV because it's the only one (that I know of) that supports advanced embedded Boolean. Many a time Google fails to produce, and a well-built AV search will pop out what I'm looking for - albeit from a smaller selection.
Parent is not Interesting, it's Troll.
Mods, I redirect his question:
What the FUCK have you been smoking in your pipe?
I'd go AC, but it's not like I have any karma to lose. I just come for the fish and chips.
Ta.
I should point out that although Google is the top for quick-and-dirty searches, it's not capable - unlike AV - of embedded Boolean searches. I don't know how many times I've needed to know something (like the font that Telus uses in its advertisements, as a recent example) and Google can't help me. When this occurs, I head to AV's advanved - REALLY advanced - search, and pop in telus AND (font OR typeface). Boom, I find a pdf of their marketing strategy and policy that Google could never have found. It's true that AV only has about one sixth of Google's database, but that's largely because it has no gratuitous blogs. Don't count AV as dead just because AV does!
agreed: it is difficult to use chat to communicate certain subtleties - but it is not impossible. consider the difference between "..hello.", "hello!", "hello..?" and others. there is of course no doubt that it isn't as easy as face-to-face communication is, but then it's SIGNIFICANTLY harder than it is to communicate subtlety and irony and such through a TV.
Mayhap someone ought to make a one-footed DDR pad!..And although that comment is obviously intended to be funny, it is in fact an interesting question. That is, why bother trying to make a one-handed controller? Games, like controllers, are meant to be played with TWO hands, not one! I realize that this gentleman has only one effective arm, but please - he was injured in a LOADED SHOTGUN accident! He doesn't deserve to play video games.
i'm afraid i forget what it was called (majesty or majestic or some such thing) but does anyone think this sounds like an opportunity for a sequel? i.e., it sends you a fax or whatever saying to GO to this place and then checks via your cell phone if you made it? maybe at these coordinates, one can find the sword of narzle?
i've found two good (so bad it's good) computers that way: an apple ii and a dgone.. so that's clearly the best way to dispose of an old computer.
or in fire.
The fact of the matter is, this is in fact a verfy common happening. Not people being arrested for spam rage, but this bloody sickening quasi-freedom in which people are free so long as it doesn't interfere with the needs of the System. This is the same problem we see with the RIAA and the MPAA, the corporate bastards infringing on our freedom in order to get rich. None of this false democracy, let there be true laissez-faire capitalist anarchy!

..they'd still only pay off 1/14 of America's national debt.
"Begun, the codec war has." ..Sorry.
Jim Nagle is the president of the team, not you. Follow your own damned link before you post an antislash..
