I think the last few versions of Tomato VPN GUI firmware by Keith Moyer have had a checkbox to automatically provide this functionality for you when it pushes routes to the clients. I run the TomatoVPN on several wrt54gLs and think it is excellent
This explosion in the installation of IP cameras will continue as the technology matures , networks and bandwidth increase and hopefully the cameras become more open source with their embedded operating systems.
This should be about efficiency , with all law enforcement cameras sending a stream to a large central system that can apply AI and identify faces , licience plates , clothing and even gaits . Public Buses , taxis , police vehicles , council vehicles also should all have cameras feeding live streams back so the central systems can maybe very quickly locate and track a person of interest. The video streams of systems in Hotels , public buildings , schools , universities , shopping centres etc should be able to be instantly requested by locality to emergency response teams so they can have live footage to base their decisions on.
concerns about the misuse of video streams are valid , but I think software can watch the watchers and flag anomolies to be investigated for breaches.

my bank ( HSBC Sing )used to use SMS confirmation for transfers but now uses the dongle , but the SMS was a pain as I would have to call and change my number when I changed countries and sim cards.
maybe a secure login from your phone via a wireless data link to receive a confirmation code - maybe have it interrogate the IMEI of your phone to authenticate the device - though the mobile computers with phone capabilities will be next in the firing line to be compromised.
part of the deal to file these patent suits should be having to go and live in that county - then they can be happy together in their own little alternate reality.

my technique is boot from UBCD , choose HDD , Diagnosis , then choose the manuf tool - do a full check and then zero the drive.
