    the "chip" would have to come for a car right next to the stolen car or else a flag would be raised about the teleporting vehicle
    also it would have to be a car of similar mechanical characteristics - your stolen sportscar with its minibus "chip" might show up if they track time between readers.
    similar would be driving characteristics of drivers showing up as patterns on readers on routes used a few times.

    I have see a lot of backpackers in the last year here in Tamatave - Google maps/earth lists many of the hotels and restaurants

    how well will logic resolve if the numbers come in that more than half the population of the world supports the leak/publication of these documents ? democratic terrorists ?

    I am Australian and it is extremely disturbing to me to see just how much influence the US Govt has over who is elected Prime Minister of Australia.

    I use Tomato firmware on a 54GL for this ( + my openVPN server ) with IP/MAC bandwidth limiting , Access Control and QoS.

    very simple to implement

    Actually, I can't think of a single seal of approval, or certification, that means anything

    IEC Ex , ANZ Ex , Aus Ex all have traceable certificates to laboratory tests - all certs will be on the respective websites.

    I imagine the algorithims used could have an application to computer facial recognition from video footage.

    for a big brother application you would just need a high enough correlation to be passed to a human for final judgement.

    Pneumatic Computation was use in early control rooms , with fully analog computation. Adders , Sumers , Square Root Extractors , PID controllers , switches.
    3 - 15 psi to represent 0 - 100 %

    when I did my Industrial Instrumentation Apprenticeship , pneumatics was a large part , and in some explosive enviroments it is still a preferred way to go.
