Not even Bush is a great enough moron to attack a nuclear power. And even if he was, I doubt Dick Cheney and the cabinet and the Pentagon are all suicidal enough to let it happen.
Mind you the "men" the people wanted to "have relations" with were in fact angels - whom you would expect would be able to defend themselves with firey swords or something.
The problem with fiery swords is that they are so damn easy to misplace.
25 And the Lord spake unto the Angel that guarded the eastern gate, saying "Where is the flaming sword which was given unto thee?"
26 And the Angel said, "I had it here only a moment ago, I must have put it down some where, forget my own head next."
27 And the Lord did not ask him again."

I'd say that your mom's average distance from the sun using something like a bell curve would be pretty close to that of a certain planet. GP's argument holds.
This is an interesting problem. Pretend it's some other crime that he allegedly videotaped. If the crime had been spray-painting "BUSH SUCKS" on a police car, the overwhelming majority on slashdot would be supporting him. If the crime had been manipulating election votes, the overwhelming majority would be supporting the feds. In both cases though, Josh Wolf would be in contempt for not handing over video of a crime that he had nothing to do with. But should we really pick and choose what the that crime has to be in order for Wolf to wind up in jail? Isn't that kind of like picking and choosing which group gets First Ammendment rights?
Wonder if that was a South Park joke.... Well in case it wasn't, those galaxies don't look like anything to us because light from them has never and will never reach our portion of the Universe.
Second even though the police and DA there are corrupt enough to believe that they can control the public in their own homes pushing this will make ALL security cameras illegal. Making life difficult for every store, station, cop that is trying to record what is going on.
To be a devil's advocate, according to the article only recording conversations falls under the wiretapping law. Security cameras are fine as long as they don't record audio.
$35/month for 500kbps? The precedent will worry the telcos, but these prices are hardly any competition for broadband. The dial-up providers will definitely be against it, but I don't think they have all that much muscle.
No, you have it all wrong. Stewart should be the democratic candidate, and Colbert the republican one. That would be an example of using the system instead of fighting it.
You need to get your reading comprehension skills checked. All the quote says is that the police received complaints about kids stripping every branch from the tree. That's it. No where in the article was the actual state of the tree mentioned. You'd think that if the tree really was stripped bare, the superindendent would use that fact to defend his officers instead of relying on complaints. Complaints != fact.
There is a way to fix it. Educate people about it so that next time they see someone who might be in life-threatening danger they realize that if they don't stop and help, chances are low that anyone else will either.
They're thinking that they don't give a damn what you do with the flyer, they just have to hand them all out. It's not like they get commission.

Ah, but noone bothers to exploit them anymore.

And when your kid tries to jump the quarterback, will you post the video on youtube?
FTFA it seems that my Windows 98 box is quite safe, thank you very much.

Yes. Biblically.
Do you have to remove the battery in order to change the playlist?
He would still have been a freakin' gazillionaire if he had patented the idea.
As I understand it, Scott Adams' The Religion War has terrorists using GPS guided drones.

And how long does it take to fly an airship around a Final Fantasy world?
As I understand it, their own neighbors are the favorite targets of terrorists around the planet.
Pssst, Mr. Secrecy, your blog is showing.

The article said the 'tree was stripped' - a twenty foot tree stripped bare.
No it didn't. RTFA.
