I have not seen any consistantly funny web comics. Most are painfully UNFUNNY. What does "unfunny" mean? That means they are the opposite of funny. They suck the funniness out of other things.

Believe me, I know what you mean. Penny Arcade? Terrible. PVP? Terrible. Sinfest? You get the idea. I don't like Pokey the Penguin or any of this bullshit. I can tolerate Scary-go-round.

Okay man, here you go. I have the one you'll like. I hope you haven't seen it yet and dismissed it. Achewood . It relies on the characters and usually has a running plot, so don't read the front page or just today's and yesterday's.

Do yourself and me a favor. Go back to the first one and start from there. After you see a couple months worth, come back and thank me (no rush.)

Although your description was excellent, I feel that it could be beefed up a bit by using the word "synergy" a few times. I've found that companies tend to get an additional 10% venture capital for each time the word "synergy" is used in their mission statement/press release.

I'm afraid I remember reading Wizard magazine in 1999 and hearing about how "synergy" was overused. I think the only use "synergy" gets nowadays from people that are complaining about how often "synergy" is used as VC bait.

It seems natural that The Force be the most natural thing: the product of the connections between all things in the cosmos. Sort of like the thing that's always in the back of your mind, your most primal level of thought... your connection to all other living things and your effect on the universe.

Having it reduced to the level of something biological seems completely misguided. I don't know why Lucas thought it important to go out of his way to explain this.

One last question, to the lawyers. When I buy land, and I get mineral rights, just how deep into the eart are my digging rights?

That's interesting -- there'd have to be some formulas (math guys insert shit here) to determine how your property boundaries narrow as they descend. Like if you had a 1x1 acre plot on the surface, and drew a line from the corners of your plot down to the center point of the earth, your plot in three dimensions would be a four sided pyramid with a base of one square acre and height of 6,000+ miles. If your surface plot was a circle, your plot in three dimensions would be a cone.
