I'll second this. Everyone in my elementary school was required to proofread anyone's work by reading backwords word by word. It works for me on my own work as well.
Please direct me to instructions on how to remove IE from Windows without rendering Windows inoperable. In an ideal world, if a program is not integrated with the OS, then some functions of the OS would not be removed when you remove IE.
An algorithm is a mathematical expression. Are you trying to say that you can copyright mathematical expressions? I shudder to think what the world wou ld be like if that was so.
I wonder if you could get the source. NASA part of the US government, right? Well, anything created by the US government is, by law, in the public domain. Wouldn't that include the source code? Also, as long as it's not classified, it should be available under the Freedom of Information Act of 1997 (1997?).
" Who cares about random stupid ass gadgets for assholes who want to waste their money and an addiction to fads."
Let's change one thing in what you said, and to me it makes more sense: "Who cares about random stupid ass video games for idiots who want to waste their money and an addiction to fads."
There, makes more sense. And to any gamers I offended, I only wanted to comment on the incredible stupidity of this guy.
In Japan you have to pay for receiving text messages, too. I always figured if someone pissed me off real bad, I'd write a script that texted them about a thousand times or so. Also, in Japan receiving calls are free, but the caller pays the cell phone charge (even if they are on a landline, which you also pay for outgoing calls on!). Cellphones have a different area code (090), so you cannot say "whoops, I didn't know I was calling a cell!"

You sure rewrote 'which', thus proving your point! How ingeeeenius!
And to refer to the citizens of the United States, I prefer USians over Etats-Unians, as French is not an official language of the US
Well IIRC, there is a nude patch for the Sims, and like Teen Pregnancy patch for Sims 2.
Would anyone honestly care about anything else?
Heh. And now I cannot connect to censorware.org at all.
Just for future reference, the plural of 'virus' is 'virii'.

I'm pretty sure when I was thinking about applying to Harvard, that I was told this by them.
Screw you.
Love,
Your Mother-in-Law
ps you better watch out at the next family reunion!
I want to know what the top 4 are. Where do you find this list? Links?
I don't think RSA should have been allowed to be patented.
I meant "patent mathematical expressions" not "copyright mathematical expressions."

Two things to hopefully shut you up:
free - having no obligations or duties (well that isn't the GPL now is it?
free - having no cost
The only true Free with a capital F is to put your work into the Public Domain.

"what's the practical use of humanoid robots anyway?"
I know I'm going to get modded "-500, Retarded" but, you ask a question like that and expect something other than
for sex?
Didn't you see AI?
You're on slashdot, kid. Don't worry about it.
What's really messed up, is that 5 posts down in the iPod announcement, in some guy's sig, is a FREE IPOD! link -_-;;; and I'm NOT making that up!
That is false. I was never charged for incoming text messages with Cingular (up until September 04, when I moved to Japan).
With my Cingular plan, receiving SMS was free (I'm in Japan now, so I don't use Cingular ^_~). I think with TMobile it's not.

As a little factoid, in Japan, most of the time tax is included up front on the product's price tag.
"IF $MONTH = FEBUARY THEN GOTO 1040."
*scoffs* That's just like the IRS...always writing spaghetti code!
It labeled emule2k spyware. So I guess open source is spyware now?
