Speaking about Seinfeld and doctors, I'll take a vet over an MD any day. I already go to the vet to get checked up. I find it's cheaper, the queue is shorter, and I get my coat brushed to a glossy shine after every visit.
I totally agree with you. But I think I can see a different side to that legal point.
That phrase can be read as:
3. You allege that Timothy Roberts has helmed several businesses that have (subsequently)failed or gone bankrupt in the last six years. The innuendo is that the businesses failed or went bankrupt while Timothy Roberts was head of the businesses.
I'm sure the lawyers will be trying to argue that Timothy Roberts helmed several businesses, but he wasn't at the head of all of them when they went under.
I haven't done my research to check whether this is true or not. In the case it is not true, and it was a case of stupid lawyers rephrasing the same sentence, let me just say: PPPPFFFFFTTHHHHTTTTT!
ROTK was nominated for, and won, 11 Oscars. This allowed the film to tie with Ben Hur and Titanic for the most Oscars.
However, they should have been nominated for Best Foreign Film a well. I mean, if a Canadian film can win Best Foreign Film this year, surely ROTK could have been nominated for it as well (and, ultimately, win it).
ROTK should have broken the record. Robbed! Robbed, I tell ya!
Nowhere did I say that England didn't have a civil war. I'm quite aware of Cromwell et al. I was merely stating countries that are a safer place to live than the USA. For example, I also state Spain in that list, and they had a very bloody civil war only last century in which around 300,000 people died.
My history book collection is fine, thank you. Try reading my post properly sometime.
"we haven't had a major conflict here since the civil war.... Thats a major feat if you think about it, is there a safer place to live???"
Yes. Try any of the following countries:
* England * Scotland * Canada * Australia * New Zealand * Wales * Spain * Portugal * Switzerland
Etc, etc. I could go on. There are plenty of countries that haven't had a civil war at all. There are plenty of countries that have had war at some point, but are currently a safer place to live due to their relationships with, and attitudes to, other countries (Norway, Finland, Austria etc).
I can't wait for the expansion, "Holland Hijinks". I hear you get to use the new units such as "young child sticking finger in dyke hole" to stop floods.
I love it because the name of that unit makes me giggle like a little schoolgirl.
The quote is: "the most powerful and trusted brand in animation."
The keyword there is "animation". As far as I know, Disneyland is built from steel, not cell shading or computers. The Disney Channel only exists to re-run old Disney movies, and none of the recent Disney-only features have had much impact.
As far as animation goes, Pixar currently has a commanding lead over Disney. Check recent box office revenue and direct movie merchandise sales for evidence. If the quote was "the most powerful and trusted brand in franchised-animation-related-stuff-and-straight-to -video-feature-cartoons" then yes, Disney would be correct. The Disney of old is dead. Short live the Disney of new.
But...but...but...no one has ever put those 3 games together before.
As far as the investors are concerned, it is new.
On the topic about the main character "having seen it and done it all", it reminds me of the Terry Pratchett character Cohen the Barbarian. No one can possibly be worse for wear from adventures than that old coot.
Game design is only one facet of online world design, frankly.
True. I'll be the first admit that (having obtained a psychology degree at university). However, game design still remains the most important facet. And frankly, you didn't get that right with Star Wars Galaxies. Jedi system, anyone?

You forget the influence of the Mac and Linux crowd on this site.

No actors from ROTK were nominated anyway. So, what's your point?

Nasty voting panelses.
Tried Final Fantasy XI?
Well, it's better than Windows XP: A New Hope.
Or, as someone else said, Windows XP: Return of the King.
Maybe a better name would be Windows XP: The Phantom Menace.
Or Windows XP 2: 2 Farked 2 Frivolous.
Pick me up a couple of stereos and tvs, will ya? I'll be busy at the car dealership down the road.
Typical.

Wake up. The USA isn't the be all and end all.

Just be aware of the fat sweaty guy in the Chocobo suit, asking people to "ride" him.
And I just shot myself in the foot with that typo.
P8Ds? They must be those new toys in the breakfast cerals boxes, right?

It does not hold up against Halo, let alone any of the next-gen titles like HL2.
And when did you play HL2?
Awww. The same moderator visited my post to give a score. Thanks!!! :-)
Ah, got to love moderators that moderate a post about the game OFF TOPIC
Idiots.
It occurs to me that it's absolutely impossible to ask someone to do something in English.
Sure you can.
Pass the salt, please.
There's no need for all those coulds, woulds, cans etc etc. It's just fluff.
Tennis? Ten-nis? What on this green earth is that?
Sorry, I only follow the professional sports, like Quake.
Ah, yes. Good old WWII Offline, where you too can TAXI TO VICTORY!!!

Then you need to turn your "Everquest Fanatic" badge and membership in.
