    Try reading the first sentence in the first paragraph, pay particular attention to the end of it. Now read the third sentence of the first paragraph.

    Now, what you were saying about "security" in windows? And how are the 100 million mom & pop users supposed to know about these special 'security' fixes that protect the mythical normal, but secure, user account?

    I think you're making a poor assumption that mental aging is NOT related to physical aging. I believe that the mental aging is a symptom of the physical aging of the brain.

    But, your post points towards another issue. Our health/welfare system will have to be massively increased to support those that are chronically sick, physically or mentally, for hundreds of years. Hopefully, some better medical solutions would be found in that time, but the cost might still be enough to require a mandatory age limit.

    You obviously have never even seen a Mac.

    The default email, Mail.app, has a built in Bayesian spam filter. You train it, it stops spam. For free, with the default install.

    I inquired with several physicians about "lung plaque" and most of them had never heard of such a thing.

    Sounds just like OS X's Keychain.

    Keychain includes a tool that lets you determine how strong your password is. And it lets you know if it's too simplistic, too short, or based on a dictionary word.

    Generally, OS X is very backward compatible with all previous hardware. If you use a commercially bought copy of OS X and updated it on the newest hardware, instead of a CD that came with a specific, especially new, model of i/PowerMac/book, you can be pretty sure that it will run on most any supported hardware.

    Makes it nice and relatively quick when you're re-imaging hundreds of different models of older Macs.

    That is just pure ignorance and FUD.

    Apple changed THEIR program to block certain behavior of another application. It's not graceful, but it is legal.

    I'm suprised someone with that low a UID is that ignorant, especially after all the previous posts, or, horror of horrors, RTFA!

    My son knew about 50 signs before he could speak.

    It was truly great to be able to communicate with him and minimize the frustration on both sides.

    At about 16 months, we first realized he understood us when I told him to go get my shoes, that were sitting next to my wife's. He ran and got the right shoes. Light bulb went on. And we went to babysigns.com and started learning some basic signs.

    Of course, as soon as he could speak, he dropped the signs. But still, it was an extra 6 months or so of communication.
