I am very enthusiastic about the internal web program that I help maintain and develop. That is even though no one gets to see it except for people within my company. I am positive that many microsoft developers are very excited and enthusiastic about their programs even though they work for "the man" (who has most likely made them very rich if they have been around for any length of time in the company!).
This is my reason for Windows too. That and compatibility everywhere. I can create a word document and know it will work on any MS word product at work or on a friend's computer.
Also, Linux is just so damn confusing. I am not a below average computer user but linux just confuses me to no end. I hardly ever have problems with windows and linux looks like it is too high maintenance. I am lazy I guess!:)

Our systems admins just tell us to goto the microsoft webpage to download the patches. We are not a small operation either (140,000+ employees). But then again our sysadmin had to ask me how to set up dial-up networking on an unnetworked pc so can't comment too much on their professionalism (I am a lowly business specs writer)
Or, in other words: IT exists to serve the business. The business does not operate to serve IT. Most of the time, there is no conflict between the two, but when there is, you need to make damn sure that the right one wins.

Yes, but there is another form of LSD not readily available..the powder form which is liquified (simplifying here) to creater blotter/liquid lsd.
Maybe it affects some people differently acid is an "interesting" substance....

Believe me it is possible if you do pure lsd (not dosed on paper). And yes, I too speak from experience.
I am not so sure about the jumping out a window thing. Most people that can do acid for a week are not that weak minded..
