Charities could be solved by mandating that a minimum of 60% of all donated money be given to the charity that is represented. I finally remembered to ask how much was being given to (insert charity here) the last time I got a call. 15%
The REAL NEMESIS... her name is... Mallory Levitt. Paramount/Viacom's lawyer used to send out the cease and desist letters. Nothing in this post should be construed as waiver of my rights to be a smartass.
It'd be highly effective to find the largest files possible on the site and have thousands of modem users attempt to download them. It would tie up the maximum number of allowed connections. Very legal. Very effective.
1984... Had to be either Omnibot (though Omnibot wasn't 3 feet tall, let alone 4) or maybe Max Steele.. But I don't think he/it came out until '86... Maybe the old Heath kit Hero??? But none of them could play 2600 games.... Verbot.. Hehe. I've still got one on my desk for display.
Tell the judge if he seriously wasn't going to throw it out of court for being asinine, the song was actually covered under fair use... It was a parody!!!
I'm curious as to what the "invitation" looked like, but it's really, *really* difficult to get in on *any* IPO unless: 1. You work for said company 2. You are "in bed" with someone in said company 3. You're conisdered a "qualified investor" (worth millions) I've tried getting in on Invidia's (glad I didn't now), Priceline, and Critical Path... I gave up and didn't bother with Be's or Red Hat's.

If he did construct a hypercube, he'd probably spontaneously transcend to a higher plane of existance as soon as he put the last brick in place.

Has M$ sent the BSA to Wal-Mart headquarters to audit licenses?
What has happened to Wal-Mart's cost on M$ products?
Maybe the ongoing lawsuit will keep them from pulling one of their tricks... I doubt it...
Why bother? It just ends up with a lackluster apology and broken promises never to do it again.
Today, I received a spam asking how I was enjoying it even though I clicked the 'don't do anything with my email address' button.
Today, I vowed never to even consider purchasing from the company that makes QuickDNS.
