I agree, isn't Internet Explorer basically running all the time when you are running Windows Xp, ME, or 2000? (Not sure about 9X or NT = 4.0) I mean just type an address into the address bar of Windows Explorer and it becomes IE.
I think this makes the Cold Start results for IE a bit suspect.
I was thinking about Coleridge and Kane, if it makes you any happier. Come to think of it, it makes me happier.

Who exactly are most people? Most people I know are glad that the protestors will be there. I think that it says a lot about public opinion when people are willing to travel to protest something.
Personally I like to code using statically typed languages MUCH (emphasis mine) more then when using dynamically typed languages.
For whatever reason I find statically typed easier to work with, so much so that I am always surprised when people say how much they love dynamically types languages.
Actually it's a sad day for 100% of the world...well not 100% I'm sure there are some warhawks and empire builders in Washington that think this is great news.
In the escape battle between the Millenium Falcon and the TIE fighters, you can see brown and green boxes on the Widescreen DVD edition as plain as day.
You are totally right about this, I noticed it when I watched the DVDs.
I still think it's cool that he apologized, and for whatever reason I have a lot of respect for him as a game designer. At least he tried to do something different...
Whatever. Privatization is good for everyone, because privatization means MARKET FORCES are in control instead of the government.
Really? That's an interesting angle, it's better to have MARKET FORCES in control you say? Why's that? Is it the Profit motive driving MARKET FORCES that make it good for everyone?
Bah!
The fact that you said that something like privatization (as opposed to air or water) is good for everyone makes your point wrong.
Why else do so many slackers in the US fear and hate bible thumpers or any clean cut, hard working square?
So instead of working your ass of, you blame everyone else. Look at the previous poster's claim about Florida votes not counting. Dude, set the joint down and read a newspaper.
I disagree with pretty much all of your post, but am too tired to reply to it right now.
I did think that the above was quite funny though, especially the part about the joint, great way to make a point.
As far as I know, the actual slump has been around for about 30 years (we're speaking about the west here right?). The decade long blip that you speak of was more like a brief blip that hurled us further downward.
Maybe I don't know too much about this, but that's what I've read.
I agree, however, even though I'm not a linux zealot what SCO does offends my morals and offends me as a person, so I could care less what happens to them.
Although all signs seem to be saying that there is something fishy with this "attack" so we'll have to wait and see.

I think:
"killing other people" == "person defense"
Either way the American constitution says:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
I'm a big fan of the "well regulated" part.
I totally agree. I've been telling this to people for years, and mostly received puzzled looks. At least I'm not alone.
I'm Canadian, by the by.

Well now it's 3 Interesting, it was probably modded troll becuase of the "I'm running it on Windows XP and loving it" comment.

Differences of opinions, whatever.
The government owes me no such thing, nor does it owe people an education.
Then what does the government owe you? Does the government owe the people roads? What about police?

Ow and I guess Halliburton...

Yeah it seems really short, which is why I asked my original questions.
Thanks for the answer.
What do they mean by survival time?
Time before worm infection?
Time before the computer is brought down?

adbar uses the "test" adsense mode, so advertisers don't pay Google and Google doesn't pay anyone.

I really think it depends on what you think it means to be left wing or right wing.
Personally I'm confused by your idea that:
left wing == communist == socialist == Stalin == Hussein
Not the definition that I'm used to at all.
