What we need is another baby boom, then in about 13 years we'll be able to squeeze enough oil from the pubescent faces of our children to power the world once more!
There is no step three!
Seriously though, who is really profiting from this? All the money put into 'cracking down' must far outweigh the potential money made is this activity wasn't going on.
Besides, we all know that the vast majority of all this 'streamed' media would not have been purchased as opposed to streamed. So they can crack down on it if they want, but they aren't going to be making that money. So I see the tax payers paying for the legal system to intervene and the big media companies making a tiny sliver more than they are now, something about this ain't right.
"Man, I wish I wouldn't have to be sitting down this whole time while I type this up or surf this page or watch this video."
I have, and the iPad might actually let me really be mobile. Laptops are a joke, you still need to sit down, plug in and BAM, you're in front of a tiny desktop machine. Tablets hope to change the way we compute. Smart phones were a taste of that, now we can get real mobile computers.
This is what happens when people who don't understand the internet pass legislation regarding the internet. A fixed fee of 10$/month on top of one the most expensive internet services in the world? W.T.F.
Seriously this is a horrible, unfair, greedy idea. SOCAN doesn't represent even a tiny fraction of musicians, get off your high horse. No one cares about labels anymore because labels are inefficient black holes of money that do everything in their power to take money away from the people who actually earn it.
Besides, music should be free, it's not like there's actually such thing as true creativity, all artists borrow and sometimes outright steal the ideas, melodies, lyrics, etc, of other artists.
I'm a pretty popular musician locally, and trust me, I don't deserve your money. That's what my REAL job is for.
"Overall code robustness is abysmal in any Apple product I've assessed--they fall over with trivial fuzzing or a few hours of analysis."
And Microsoft's code doesn't? I find it irresponsible to state 'facts' like that without pointing out at least one example of 'code' that does meet your standards.
I mean, for all we know, you think ALL code is horrible when it comes to security.
Atlantis had run it's course and Universe sucked: the casting was just horrible and the show itself was amazingly low of science-fiction content much less the fact that they were on a potentially very interesting alien ship at immense distances from earth.
Not necessarily but we so rudely never answer the subspace messages they keep sending! All for the better they are probably trying to sell us something.
Since when does Justin Beiber have anything to do with music? Also, doesn't his name disrespect the 'i' before 'e' rule?
Meanwhile, 8 ounces is still 1 cup, but grams aren't a heavy as they used to be.
Exactly what I thought when I read the headline...
Ha! "iPhone falls 1000 feet and remains undamaged, doesn't even wake up."
I always thought a deficit was the symptom of spending more money than you have/make.
Hey, that's morning for me!
Certificates form TTP's aren't free.
One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist, so it's exactly the same.

Because if you're not a 'techie', Android is an automaton that resembles a human being, not a cellphone.

Exactly! and those of us who are proud of who we are and what we do have absolutely nothing to fear.
probably left over from the Tok'ra. They must not have had time to destroy their tunnels before abandoning it.
Forget Aerogel then, tell us more about this 'X'.

Unknown Lamer must have had his head in the Cloud.
"I hope your dog becomes a zombie, dry humps and then eats your whole family. Then slowly eats you." Now there's a show!
switch to an Ethanimus connector, handed down to man by Metcalfe himself! also David Boggs, Chuck Thacker and Butler Lampson.
