Like the other comments i recommend a high quality encoder, my preference is Cinema Craft Encoder. I've tried the nero encoder and anything i put it comes out looking quite horrible. If there is alot of noise you might need a bit of a smoother filter to help the mmpeg-2 compression. Try getting a program called avi2dvd, it does everything for you and you only need to input which encoder you'd like to use (free ones are provided).
A problem experianced by people with playstation 2(modded ones) and i would assume can carry over to other products is that the laser has to adjust many more times for burned media as opposed to pressed media. This wears the lasers ablity to read anything over time.

He's trying to make him understand that morality and law are sometimes different. It may be immoral to make fun of a handicapped person or have an affair but it's not illegal (at least not in most countries).

Last time i went to vegas, the dealer cut off betting before the spin, according to this article the betting is cut off after 3 rotations. So basically the method I observed stops any prediction based cheating at all
The situation is not a patient suing a doctor. It is patients who sue for 6 million because someone made a mistake , do some doctors commit malcious behavoir or willful neglicence. People make mistakes and because of this apprently a person needs 10million dollars to make it better.
Malpractice insurance is out of control , it keeps all medical costs up and makes it harder for real people with real problems to get treatment. I don't think they would have created this website if the majority of lawsuits were either not exaggerated or under false pretenses.
Rip all the dvd's to iso on the server have video out and audio out (to plasma and sound system) and control computer via wireless mouse and or keyboard. Really not that complicated just use software player (windvd,linux) and any old operating system and daemontools which allows you to mount the dvd's as drives. OR you can rip to folders and use dvd software that plays movies in folders (powerdvd does it)
I think alot of people compare their old 15-17 inch CRT's to recent LCD's. I just got a sony 19inch trinitron and i must say it looks better than my parents lcd. the image is much clearer and there is no ghosting during high motion like moving a window, plus it was cheaper. I don't understand the need to save 12 inches of space, not to mention people don't set their refresh rates to something higher than 60hz

Acutally the flag raising was done twice right after each other, the first flag was very small so they decided to take it down and find a larger pole to put it on, as it was being put up the photographer 'Joe Rosenthal' snapped the picture as he was just coming to the top of mountain. Later , when the flag was fully raised, he took a posed picture. Of course the accidental picture was the one that became famous.

and what's with that guy a few posts up who acutally found a way to tie in rural broadband with a negative american political comment. He prolly couldn't have waited for a post about the iraq war again.
