    I don't neccessairlly agree with that. I think that there can be more than one designated [raving commie | fascist neo-conservative | smelly hippy], and I think that there can be more than one "Chair of Someone Think of the Children". The existence of Jack Thompson, and his daily appearances in the mass media, do not preclude another nanny-state windbag from taking the stand along side him. People don't stop complaining about Bush when you say another Republican will just take his place, and we should be happy that Bush isn't starting nuclear war (yet ;). Each lobbyist of this nature must be met with full force.

    TFA states that no information rated "Classified" or "Secret" was retrieved. TFA goes on to state that so far, a network with those classifications has never been compromised. The information that was retrieved had export controls on it, but no higher classifications.

    Never mind licensing. What about competing products that are almost identical, and already on the market? The store that I'm working at right now offers this for sale for 100 CAD, and it's damn near identical.

    Why should MS be worried at all? Changing the processor that the Mac runs is not going to change the fact that the only white-market computers that can run Mac OSX are manufactured by Apple. The barrier for making the leap to Apple is still the same - comparatively expensive hardware for some applications. All MS has to lose is its mindshare among pirates who might be tempted by the leaked copy of the developer's edition of Tiger.

    (btw...anyone have a torrent? ;)
