Yeah, I'm an ass haha... I'm behind a router. Still, being NAT'd doesn't necessarily give you perfect protection either... Recall the windows RPC bug...
Still, I ran adaware 60 days ago and had zero. I ran it again two days ago and still had nothing more than cookies, which IMO is kind of a false-positive... Although it's debatable. A cookie, IMO isn't going to do the same thing Bonzai Buddy will... Spybot S&D found one, but I'm not convinced it's a real piece of spyware... Still investigating it...
And with adblock blocking *.doubleclick.* I don't really get too many tracking cookies anyway...
Until then it kinda sucked ass too. I really got hooked on DS9 when Avery Brooks shaved his head and got some character to him. When they brought in the Klingons that just thickened the plot. I loved the long story arc.
What I loved most about TNG was all the reflection it made us do. It made us look at ourselves and human nature more. DS9 was cool, and VOY less so, and ENT just sux, but they all lacked the kind of reflection that TOS and TNG offered us.
I mean, that black/white people episode was so obvious, but it was still fantastic, especially given the era that it came from. Move to TNG. It started huge, right off the bat; Q and his court case about humanity and how destructive we've been. I mean, there's such deep meaning there.
IMO DS9, VOY, and ENT were lacking in reflection. DS9 was cool in many other ways. As soon as they started the war, the show took a fantastic direction, but it still didn't offer much reflection. Not like TOS or TNG.
Difference is, in a play, the actors only have one take to get it right. You can overlook the set because you usually have great acting in front of you...
I don't run a personal firewall. Does that make me an amateur user?
Really, u shouldn't even need anti spyware tools if you were a bit savvy... The odd thing sneaks through on my machine because I install so much crap to try it out.... Once in a while i try something a bit too crappy...
lol I find EVERYTHING in KDE has too many damn buttons... That's JMO... It's that whole "Less is more" vs "more and more"... I'm not fond of it... others have a much different take...

Sorry to hear that. This game is so very nostalgic. I had the little countertop version. Played that for hours, to the point where it got so damn fast it was actually impossible to control (from an 8 year old's POV)
I'm actually going to vote NDP. I like Layton. I think he's the best leader his party's ever had, and given the alternative, I'd rather preserve health care than demolish it...
I recon a better reason to complain is the slow as shit load times and the clunky non responsive ui... I mean, that's already a gripe about OOo - the sloppy load times.
I know Java has come a long way since Swing, but I still find stuff like Netbeans and Zend PHP Studio still kinda sluggish and resource intensive. That's JMO of course...
You should see what's going on in Canada right now.
We have a minority government situation here, and the governing party with the most seats in our house is attaching so much crap to the budget, they are trying to make it political suicide to defeat it.
Thing is, our oposition isn't going to stand for it, and has the courage to try to defeat the govt.
.htaccess files are easy. There's plenty of websites out there that'll hash the password for you. Not that I trust them, but if you're lazy like I am, then it's not the worse thing to use for a personal server.
Dunno if that'll do anything. There's so many pwned machines out there that you can find with just a scan with nmap that you can't just block an ipaddress really...
That's one of the attacks these guys have is to nail you from as many different directions possible... Bouncing packets off of unsuspecting pwned machines.
So according to your rigid definition, the third coming can never happen because Christians will never believe it. Otherwise they won't be Christian. Quite the paradox as I see it. You guys believe God will come again, but if He ever comes your faith in Christ will inhibit your faith in the Third Coming. You guys have a pretty twisted religion IMO.
Very insightful, especially for those of us in Canada.
UPS rapes you with a baseball bat at the border with brokerage fees, so when you see UPS is the only option, and you don't know about awesome places like The Letter Carrier that handle your package for you, you have no choice but to abandon.
As well, some US merchants seem to overcharge badly for shipping to Canada. They need to use some anal lube when they try to fuck you up the ass like that so it doesn't hurt as much...
If I pulled a hundred things off the shelf, but get too frustrated with the lines, I'm going to abandon the cart.
So you're going to spend an hour filling your cart, and abandon it because you have to wait 10 minutes, to go to another store and spend another hour filling the same cart? (probably also having to wait 10 minutes too)

DS9 got rad when Berman moved onto VOY.

No way. Dr. Beverly. Man was she a babe. She maintained her awesome femeninity without becoming all tits like 7 of 9...
And Jerry Ryan almost always had her hair back. She's all friggin' lips. Her lips so big, Mick Jagger be sayin' "Them's some big-ass lips"
=D

Funny - I was confused reading his post too - he said "adding 1 bit" and then added "10"....
For a second there I felt pretty stupid...
Wait... Still... Feeling it....
Do tell me what kind of mathematical operations you would plan to perform with that varchar field?
It's all find and dandy that you have a way to store it, but you really don't have much way to work with it do you?
My fiance and I actually fell asleep during Reloaded....
I recal waking up to Donald Sutherland in some stupid god role, and went back to sleep again.
I think I didn't enjoy it because it had been too long from seeing The Matrix...
I don't think a fingerprint counts as a mark on your right hand... It's already friggin' there.
Maybe RFID embedded under the skin of your right hand, but seriously, this is retarded...

.htaccess file reads like this:
.htpasswd .htpasswd reads like this:
A
AuthUserFile
AuthName "Enter Password"
AuthType Basic
require valid-user

Here's a free password hashing site
-100000000 points if R2D2 has a battle scene as stupid as Yoda's...
lol I did that! I set up a reverse proxy for fun, and I left the proxy open to the whole www...
I saw strange requests in my logs all of a sudden to doubleclick. People were making money off my open proxy... haha woops!
The site says defacement counts.
Can we not try to brute force the Tucows registration for the account and alter the DNS records? Doesn't that count as defacement?
(Granted you haven't really hacked IIS 6 though)

Mormons:Christians as Christians:Jews

That's just to the unstable branch I believe...
