Honestly, can you blame her? The liberal media shoves anti-Palin messages down everyone's throats to the point where the average American just swallows it without a moment of critical thinking. Anyone noticing a commonality here?
Media's message regarding Bush: He's an idiot. He's an idiot. He's an idiot. He's an idiot. Media's message regarding Palin: She's an idiot. She's an idiot. She's an idiot. She's an idiot. Average American: Really? You send the same message every time. EVERYONE'S an idiot and it's not just that they disagree with you politically? Media: They're idiots. They're idiots. They're idiots. They're idiots. Average American: Seriously? All of them? Media: They're idiots. They're idiots. They're idiots. They're idiots. Average American: I guess they could be idiots. Media: They're idiots. They're idiots. They're idiots. They're idiots. Average American: Ha ha, look at the idiots.
Wikileaks is unleashing a torrent of reports regarding unethical dealings in the Whitehouse that Democrats and their lapdog media outlets would be all over, were this a Republican administration. Breaking news is that Obama was handing Britain's nuclear secrets to Russia and what are hearing about? I like to think that Slashdot is a more intelligent crowd, but what do we get instead? Palin trademarking her name.
Come on, people. Time to step up the critical thinking skills.
I'm sorry... their legal rights to what? Force certain ISP's offer services beyond what they should feel to offer? That right exists? If it does, pedophiles have more of it than anyone else?
OK, so after saying basically that the answer to 2+2 is 4, your telling me, "just because it isn't 5, doesn't mean it's 4." I fail to see how that's even remote insightful, but to make sure I've got this straight, you're saying that Hollywood as a whole is a centrist, middle-ground arena? You don't think it's generally liberal? There's three answers here. Hollywood in general is either Conservative, Liberal, or Moderate. I'm curious to hear where you feel it lies.
Hey good point. While you're at it, maybe the local libraries can push aside some of the issues of "Highlights" magazine in the kids section to make room for Playboy and Hustler. Also, let us know how your kids like the "Sex with Animals" sculpture exhibit down at the local kids' museum. BTW, the next time you and your wife are intimate, make sure to leave the doors open and lights on, in case your four-year-old daughter can't see well in the dark.
I hope you like the world you're constructing. All of these examples are points on the thought process you've laid out. Mind want to ammend your statement.
You must not watch/read the news very much. The original poster was referring to Hollywood in general. If you sum up that facet as a whole and think they're anything less than way left, you need to get out more.
That would sound like a rational statement to people that don't know the difference between the moral law of the old testament and the Levitical civil law. Apparently, there's enough of those people to mod this drivel as "insightful."
It doesn't matter how you define stealing, it only matters how the basis of your moral absolutes define stealing. That, in turn, should affect your choices when you participate in your country's political process. If it does not, or you do not participate, or if you do not have an absolute standard to base your morals upon, then you might as well bow out of the discussion.
In addition, the typical unsuccessful hardware installation in Windows at least gets a popup in the icon tray and an addition under the "unknown hardware" section. Even a successful installation in redhat will occasionally yield only an obscure/dev reference...
Bear in mind, I'm a big redhat fan and use it just as much as my XP box, so I ain't no playa hater, but for an OS that's supposed to work on most any hardware, it's sorely lacking.
BTW, chalk up another vote in the "bloated code" section.
You're working under the assumption that all 30Mbps is pulled from one website. Personally, I'm not above having ISO's downloading from seperate mirrors, whilst streaming audio, sending & receiving email, and continuing to browse the web...
Yeah, pretty much every review I saw said that it was clearly propoganda. It's interesting to see that Taco says it contains much truth and his only concession is that some of it is funny, too. I guess that shows where he fits (or doesn't.)
Bear in mind, this is coming from someone who hasn't bothered to see the movie, but has seen Michael Moore enough in the news to already know the jist of the movie.
Not trying to nitpick, but I disagree that Cat6 is better. You need to factor cost into it and I suspect that one would have a difficult time cost-justifying Cat6, when Cat5e will carry gigabit ethernet over copper.
I saw the bit torrent download links and decided it was time to check it out. I did a google search, found, downloaded, and installed the software, and returned to click on the bit torrent link. Sure enough, I click upon the link and I am presented with a 6Kps download. Notice, I didn't specify KBps or Kbps, as the coder clearly isn't familiar with the conventions and called it Kibs.
This software proved to be a complete waste of my time, as was the de-installer. Sure-enough, I ended up having to delete the directory with files after having run the installer. You would think that after the installer felt it could take the liberty of selecting the directory to install to for me, the least it could do is uninstall properly.

Actually, this bug has existed in Cisco routers since the 10.x train of IOS. For those not in the know, the current version of IOS is the 12.x train and that has been around for a while, now.
Let's not jump on the sensationalism band-wagon. Cisco has a security flaw that they posted, with the fixes, before any exploits were made available. Woo and yay.

Well said, sir.
6Mbps / 8 bits in a byte * 30.5 days in a month * 24 hours in a day * 60 minutes in an hour * 60 seconds per minute = 1,976.4GB monthly limit.
People can call it what they like, but there's NO SUCH THING as unlimited throughput.
You should try calling 911 about it 20 times in 30 minutes.

I don't think I've ever seen one. If you do, please post it for the good of all slashkind.

Now, stop interrupting my television programming.
There's nothing "legendary" about RMS' free software song. The only thing that sucks worse than the song is RMS, himself.
Yeah, because no one EVER loads a service pack off a CD-ROM, right? Oh, wait...
What's wrong with you? That strip sucks.
With a copy of TurboTax thrown in. We can even help him with the online registration process!
