Why would you want something that is not permanent?
I know a porn star who has some prominent tattoos that are not permanent (possibly Henna that she has re-inked). They are her trademark, but also an exit strategy from the porn biz. Retire, take a vacation to let the ink fade. Then she can go out in public as the woman who looks like that porn star, but without the tats.
Which means that I have to install/maintain a gtkapp on ever desktop that needs to access gtkclient. No thanks. In a corporate environment, that could be thousands of desktops.
This is the sort of architecture that only Microsoft could love, with per-seat licenses for each user.
With X, it is: Xclient->network->Xserver
And Xserver is available on numerous OSs, so there's no desktop lockin.
Black holes that small would be hard to see. And if created by advanced civilizations with LHC-sized accelerators, very rare. And then these black holes would evaporate via Hawking radiation quite rapidly (on astronomical time scales).
Right now I can opt out of any identification requirements by simply not engaging in activities that require it. Don't want a drivers license? Don't drive. This will not be the case if any form of ID is created solely for the purpose of identifying individuals. Then you won't be able to 'opt out'. It will be a short step to requiring identification be carried at all times.
Or perhaps one can train their brain to work around a neurological deficit. You understand what your shortcomings are and develop strategies for dealing with them.
To greatly oversimplify the strategy John Nash used to deal with his condition, he continued to hear the voices. He just consciously ignored what they were telling him.
The printNumber function is repeatedly called until the base case is reached. Then the deepest called instance returns first (when n<0), reaching the Print statement and returning. As each call to printNumber is popped off the stack, the parent function output value is printed.
You forgot the link.

Someone keeps swiping all the Scarlett Johansson spare parts to build their own copy.

Forth is a 'write only' language.
A 'China Syndrome' event is not possible in Japan.
The gloop would come out somewhere around South America.
Gloop is an element. TFS didn't say exactly which isotopic form of Gl they are looking for.
I don't see this as any different than Apple pay at some point.
Nice if you could load up $20 on Apple pay and pass it to the cop along with your DL.
Here's an alternative implementation.
Cop says: "My reader's battey died and is charging in my patrol car. Give me your phone and I'll carry it back to read it."
Added benefit: Cop has your phone/camera now so you can't record the subsequent beating.
Unless you are in the EU:
No problem, sir, I happen to have a large box of assorted chargers in my cruiser.
FTFY.

I keep my code undeadable with a liberal use of goto statements.
Or you could become phenomenally rich and powerfull. And then others would have to deal with you.

An array of these should be able to detect a pulse of neutrinos produced by nuclear bombs.
Personally, I think the best way to freedom is to allow people to see what they are missing.
Just watch. The most popular movies will end up being like Rendition and Wag the Dog.
clarity to other readers matters above parsimony
Is that one pass or multiple pass parsimony?
