I see, you don't get it, but I'm stupid.

Well, I'll spell it out for you, are you ready?

Watergate was a crime committed by adults.
This article is a about a crime committed by a teenager, or, if you prefer, a non-adult.

Since we CLAIM to treat adults and non-adults differently in criminal law, it is NOT a valid comparison to compare the punishment for a crime commited by adults, to the punishment a non-adult should receive.

Of course, I didn't even BOTHER to mention that the scope and impact of the two crimes are on opposite ends of the severity scale.

Your attack by the way is what smart people call an ad hominem attack. You can read ALL about it and the other fallacies that you ARE making on this page.

    The Watergate Burglars
There were 5 burglars arrested on June 17, 1972 at the Watergate offices of the Democratic National Committee:

    1. Bernard L. Barker - a realtor from Miami, Florida. Former Central Intelligence Agency operative. Barker was said to have been involved in the Bay of Pigs incident in 1962.

    2. Virgilio R. Gonzales - a locksmith from Miami, Florida. Gonzalez was a refugee from Cuba, following Castro's takeover.

    3. James W. McCord - a security co-ordinator for the Republican National Committee and the Committee for the Re-election of the President. McCord was also a former FBI and CIA agent. He was dismissed from his RNC and CREEP positions the day after the break-in.

    4. Eugenio R. Martinez - worked for Barker's Miami real estate firm. He had CIA connections and was an anti-Castro Cuban exile. Click here to read Martinez's account of the burglary.

    5. Frank A. Sturgis - another associate of Barker from Miami, he also had CIA connections and involvement in anti-Castro activities.

I suppose 16 year olds could be locksmiths, but I'm betting that not too many 16 year olds work for the CIA.

I might be wrong though, could someone correct me if the watergate burglars were, like the perpetrator in this case, children/teenagers/under the age of 18.

    thanks.

That's a common misconception. If the sampling was done properly then the sampling should be representative of the population. The specific size of the sample is not as important as the quality of the sample.

I am NOT an expert, but I've had enough statistics to not be alarmed by the sample size.

Right, you post a paper that has no scholarly value as evidence. The only reference I can find to the "Canadian Institute for education on family vales" is the "institute" itself. Anyone can setup a domain name and call themselves an institute because they want to further their own personal agenda.

The paper itself admits that they were unable to find any explicit causal relationship.

    Conclusions and Recommendations

While no causal relationship has been conclusively demonstrated to exist between viewing pornography and deviant behaviour, there does exist a well-documented correlative effect.

This comment imnsho pretty much sums up the reality. Your argument is roughly equivalent to saying, "people in hot climates drink more water, thus, water is the cause of hot climates"

    Speakers in the hood?

Ok, I'm NOT a good boarder, I'm just some guy who likes the snow. I don't go very fast, maybe 30mph tops and that's really just guessing based on my more experienced bike riding sense of speed. At ANY speed that I go there is SO much ambient noise in my hood that I can't imagine that I'd be able to hear much of anything. Now, for the sit and smoke pot in between each pipe run crowd, that might just work.

Like burton needs another excuse to make overpriced clothing. The ONLY thing you need is a hat that covers your ears, a pair of lightweight glasses that aren't too dark, a good pair of loose fitting snowpants that REALLY work and keep your ass dry, a lightweight top, a pair of loosefitting gloves, a sleveless vest (umderneath the top), and thermal underwear. Everything else just gets in the way.
