Actually, the BEST thing you can do is to find two attractive people who will hump on screen, film it, distribute it on your website and through DVD sales and you will make enough money to fund your next "legit" film from beginning to end. Remember not to use your real name in the credits and NEVER star in your own pron film! You want people to take you seriously later on and pron is still a filthy business to be in.

It seems to me that many of you do not have your fingers on the pulse of the day to day users in a corporate enviornment. That is why you fail to see why companies use, and will continue to use, Windows as a base OS for their client systems. It works just fine for what these users need to do. It does not "break" as often as you would like it to, or believe it to break. Sorry, get over it. How many of you support over 1000 Windows based systems in a corporate enviornment. (I bet I'm one of the very few with my hand up right now). If you did then you would understand why those ranting about how quickly Windows is on its way along with the dodo are clearly high on Dust Off. Seriously, talk about an emotional, irrational response. And yeah, I know I'm posting from a hotmail account. Does that invalidate my point now? Yahoo will pay dearly for missing the M$ boat. haha.

Agreed. My neighbors and I have taken it one step further. We all share files with eachother without even using the internet and without leaving our homes. Know what I'm saying? ;) True, we are limited to what content we can download to the extent of what everyone is sharing, but think about that on a larger scale, say, an entire city on it's own community based network. We all still have internet through our local ISP, but we are not bound to their network to share files. Haha. Think I'm crazy, huh? You'll see.

If you appear drunk, smell like booze, or say something incriminating they will forcibly take blood from you at the booking station. There is a nurse there and they will take your blood. You will be charged and you will lose your license. And because you refused the test the first time you will now be hit with the maximum sentence/penalty. Having fun yet? Well, you have the next 5 years of informal probation to think about it and the next 10 years before the charge is off your DMV record. Weee!

I knew my comments would be taken out of context so here we go again: I am not saying that it is right that women need to change to fit better in their respective work environments. I am saying that it is a fact that they need to. Until the numbers of female managers and execs are equal to that of men, well, the culture will not change. So women are going to have to do the changing. Hope that clears things up.

  15. It is all very simple, really.. on Coping Strategies for Women in IT · · Score: 0

If women want to be treated as equals, well then, they had better be ready to be treated as equals. Which means when a man teases you about your hair or your breath or whatever you had better act like a grown woman and not a little girl crying to your mommy. Women have NO idea how much abuse we men put eachother through. And they have even less of a clue as to why we do it. Sometimes it is out of competitiveness, aggression, insecurity, and sometimes it is just plain funny to mess with someone. This is how we form social order at work and life in general. This is not something we have been taught...it is how we have been made. Boys wrestle and girls play nice. I cant believe people are still debating about this shit. Yes, men and women are different. DUH. Do we misunderstand eachother from time to time? YES. Is that OK? YES. Do you need to run to HR everytime someone says something to you that YOU find offensive even though you may not have really understood what they were saying or implying? NO. You idiots. NO. Look ladies, right or wrong the world is still run by men. I for one would welcome a world run by women. I doubt they could do any worse and I am sure there would be MUCH less viloence. BUT, if you ladies cannot show the men at your company that you can play with the big boys then you will NEVER make it. Sorry. Please do not mistake my post as condoning harassment or telling women to look the other way when it happens, that is stupid. What I want to see in the workplace are more women like my mom. She takes NO shit, from ANYONE. But she is not a b&*ch about it. She can take a shot, return fire, and then move forward as though nothing has happened. Even if she pretends that it doesn't bother her she still gains more respect from her male counterparts. Think she is selling out? Doing something she shouldn't need to to get ahead? Welcome to life as a man. WOman.

I don't feel anxious from not handling an electronic device and being bathed in the warm glow of an LCD. I just chill. And you know what? I am the least stressed out person I know. I have a smile on my face, most of the time, and I notice the little things of which most of you have lost sight. How many people here actually feel the relief when 5pm, (pick a time) rolls around and it is time to go home? I bet most of you still feel "on" even after you have arrived home. And dont cry to me about being on call because I am too. It's my job so I deal with that, but when I am off work, I AM OFF WORK. If you dont have a strong enough mind to let things go for a while and relax then you may need work on yourself a bit. The alternative? A miserable existence which will end in an untimely, traumatic death, i.e. heat attack, stroke, suicide, whatever. Be a well balanced individual. Go outside and and do something that makes you sweat. And I dont mean playing your PSP in the hot sun! Get a life. Because what many of you have right now is not a life; it's just your idea of one. Just chill. Oh, and um, mod me down. I dare you.

Personally, I would feel like a creep for taking a picture of someone I didn't know or of someone I knew whom did not want their picture taken. It is a basic common courtesy which I believe is in short supply these days. If someone walks past my street-facing window and looks at me while I stand at said window, well, then fine. Good for them. If I do not like it I WILL close the blinds. But if they whip out a camera and start taking my picture, well, that just doesn't seem right. You know what I mean? It just doesn't feel right. What if I had the technology built into my windows so that if anyone took a picture of me through the window their camera would be fried? Am I resposible for their camera? What if I had a sign on my window warning of such measures/dangers? Why should I need to worry about people stealing/abusing my image if all I want is some natural light and fresh air in my room? And to the jackass who will no doubt ask me if I have a My Space profile the answer is yes. And EVERY picture of ME on MY page was approved by ME. And as for the pictures of other people on my page? They all know their pictures are on my page and if anyone doesnt like their picture I would remove it immediately. Once again allow me to introduce you all to a new idea called, Common Courtesy.
