John Kerry said on Dec. 16, 2003 that those who are against the war lack "the judgment and credibility to be President."
The above is your sig. Do you have a source for that or, perhaps, the entire quote? Because the only quote I can find is about Saddam and its Cheney quoting Kerry.
murronrose basically responds like that. However, murronrose backs down and says (essentially) "I like Maxis, please don't kick me off the board" and offers to buy the game again.
Looks like the threat worked. To the rest of us, it looks like AWFUL customer service!
I like Apple. I own a Mac. But I'm no fanboy. Apples are expensive, slower than PCS, etc. But I still use my 5 year-old G3. Over the years I think we've all seen people tangle with Apple. It's a dangerous company to mess with.
And personally, hating Real as much as I do, I certainly don't wish them success. Glaser is a hippocrite for wanting to steal Apple's IP but not wanting Apple to steal theirs. It is a two-way street.
Actually, IIRC, the gridbugs were hand-drawn but made to look like CGI. Many things in TRON are traditional animation made to look like CGI. So, you didn't use the best example, but I get your point.
I assume you're being sarcastic or being a troll but in either case in case people take you seriously:
Simple economics will tell you that it is obviously worse for Microsoft if no one buys their systems because a $150 loss is worse than a $100 loss (less now) and they can't claim as many sales.
Since we're all writing in English on a mostly U.S. site, his assumption was correct. It didn't make it to these shores, thus we don't care all that much.
Grokster [verb]causes[verb] people to download
Guns [verb]kill[verb] people
Spoons [verb]cause[verb] Americans to be fat.
Why did you change the verb? Let's take a look at it. Does Grokster cause people to download? No. Is it a means for people to download? Yes. Is downloading bad? No. Do spoons cause people to eat? No. Are they a means for people to eat? Yes. Is eating bad? No.
Now to the meat. Do guns cause people to kill? You'd most likely say no. Are they a means for people to kill? Yes. Is killing bad? Yes.
My roommate and I were up really early one morning and saw the same. We sat in silence for one minute before my roommate said, "I don't know who's a bigger loser, the guys playing or us for watching."
Thank you for pointing out Bourne! I say we start a campaign titled "Buy Peter Greengrass a tripod and wide angle lens".
These would have made Bourne Supremacy about 1 million times better.
How critics liked the second one better than the first is beyond me. Both the camera work and *spoiler* the lack of Franka Potente were major downfalls to the film.
Yes it will be a huge hit just like the virtual boy was after critics trashed it as well. I remember I couldn't go five feet without seeing some kid hooked up to those 3D glasses - Nintendo, enough with the market saturation with the Virtual Boy!
"African Americans often did supply a disproportionate number of combat troops, a high percentage of whom had voluntarily enlisted. Although they made up less than 10 percent of American men in arms and about 13 percent of the U.S. population between 1961 and 1966, they accounted for almost 20 percent of all combat-related deaths in Vietnam during that period. In 1965 alone African Americans represented almost one-fourth of the Army's killed in action. In 1968 African Americans, who made up roughly 12 percent of Army and Marine total strengths, frequently contributed half the men in front-line combat units, especially in rifle squads and fire teams. Under heavy criticism, Army and Marine commanders worked to lessen black casualties after 1966, and by the end of the conflict, African American combat deaths amounted to approximately 12 percent--more in line with national population figures."

Of course more blacks aren't going to die than whites in Vietnam, percentage wise that would be very difficult (as whites are far more common). However, they were disproportionately sent over, as this makes clear.
So, I guess I'm saying it's not a MYTH and that you're wrong.
Does Uwe Boll know that gamers hate him? He must. I'm guessing that when he was younger he got his ass handed to him in Pong. Since then he's had it in for gamers. His only means of payback is buying the rights to the games and then crapping on them on the big screen.
The man couldn't direct himself out of a soggy cardboard box.
Although the AIDS-developed-to-kill-Africans is complete horseshit, in many African countries the men prefer "dry sex", that is without lubrication or condoms, making infection FAR FAR EASIER. Truckers in Africa have dry sex with numerous prostitutes (without protection) and the disease spreads like wildfire. So, yes, because of sex practices it is far more lethal than necessary.
Liberals have the NYT's Boston Globe..Washington Times..ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN et al...
Liberals have the Washington Times? Really? I'd love to meet the "liberals" behind the Washington Times!
Perhaps its a regional thing. Out here in DC, we call the Washington Times the "right-wing wacko" paper, but perhaps where you're from that means "liberal." Weird.
the [PC Gamer paper-mag] reviewer claims it took 23 hours to complete.
Having read PC Gamer, I believe it.
Seriously, though, it's widely assumed that PC Gamer reviewed a non-shipping preview version of the game, which seems pretty shady to me. Though similar to the final version, the games are likely to have SOME differences. After all, Ebert doesn't review rough cuts of films, does he?

Yes, he's been a helluva fighter. Really crushed Osama Bin Laden.
Just so you know, in America "fags" means homosexuals, not cigarettes. Just so you know.

The rest, however, I don't agree with.
This isn't as simple as believing in God or not, as many democrats are religious (opposed to what you might hear on TV).

Just FYI, as I see this argument quite a bit.
However, they have a TERRIBLE track record online (Dreamcast online? Yup. PS2 online? Yup. Xbox online? Yup. Gamecube online? One game!).
Though they may sue, they haven't demonstrated "online dominance" yet nor do they seem all that interested in online gaming.

Why don't you just burn it to an audio CD - AS YOU'RE ALLOWED BY APPLE?
We turned it off.

I thought that Soul Caliber also offered parrying.

I'd mod you up if I could. Too true.
I just don't have much interest in the game and thus fine the price very high. Maybe when it hits $20.
Yes, that was another lame Duke Nukem joke. But dear Lord, $55 seems pretty high to me (unless it comes with a whole slew of stuff).
