    Tesla has a high rate of recalls compared to other car manufacturers.

    Just because a car maker has fewer recalls than Tesla doesn't mean their cars have fewer issues. It just means they don't have as many recalls. They could simply be not taking responsibility for their problems compared to Tesla.

    I feel no love for Yahoo messenger, but if you are planning a replacement, discontinuing the current one is a really bad business decision. All your users will leave, when they could have been transferred easily by merely updating their clients.

    It remains to be seen how much Microsoft has paid for GitHub, but why pay anything if they're unprofitable?

    Because thanks to the magic of ToS that can be changed on a whim, Microsoft can just magik in a "all your codes belongs to us" clause.

    How do people not know Mr. Betteridge by now?

    Well you see, years ago, there was this crazy plan to spray a certain compound over towns to eradicate this common but fairly minor public health threat. But they didn't do enough testing of the compound or it's long-term health effects without going forward...

    A short while ago? As in, when you read the summary above and it was mentioned in the second to last sentence:

    The news comes shortly after the service was accused of faking the streaming numbers for Kanye West and Beyonce.

  25. The list is a list of customers. That doesn't say anything about how often they use the service, or who they are using the service to watch. The list likely includes Sheriff's offices that have not logged in in years.
