    Coming from a woman's perspective: agreed, to an extent.

    It's not that most of these guys are necessarily bad people, but hackers (in the DEFCON sense) do tend to follow alpha male mentality......

    Sounds more like aeta males behaving badly.

    I said it for years... Apple only looked better because they were small. I was modded down and called ignorant and a Linux neckbeard.

    I think you forget just how evil MS was for a while. Apple may be suing firms it sees as copying its designs for lost revenue, but MS once drove a small company out of business because it's fonder was married to someone who did a bit of consulting for Netscape.

    If you go through life navigating by looking in your review mirror, you are going to run into a lot of things.

    I'm a user of MS, Apple and Android based products. I'm getting tired of Apple's sue happy policy and I will take that into serious consideration during any future purchases.

    Apple is making MS look less douchebaggish by comparison.

    Nothing is more douchebaggish than "I won't buy XYZ any more because of blah blah emotional decision" posts on the Internet.

    Apples numerous lawsuits aren't " 'blah blah emotional decision' posts", they are real.

    A common defense of flash-trading is that it provides market liquidity in that it provides counterparties to the desired transactions of the rest of the market.

    If fleas could talk they would tell us how they benefit dogs.

    But I've yet to see someone discuss how the added-value of millisecond liquidity is substantially superior to having exchanges post transactions in 1-sec. intervals to discourage millisecond arbitrage during which no new events have occured and no new market analysis has taken place, only speculation and playing the system against proper investors? Can someone illuminate me on this point?

    I would go for a longer period that 1 second, although 1 second would be an improvement.

    I prefer controlling the coding but use an HTML editor (not WYSIWIG) to reduce they amount of keyboarding. I still have complete control of the code and it is easy to read when done. A decent HTML editor will also have the ability to use a split screen to see the results of your work as you go. Coffee Cup HTML Editor works for me, there are other good ones.

    Except what's being described in the article IS fragmentation. But keep telling yourself it's normal to get updates randomly, if at all.

    Yes there is fragmentation, but it's not an Android problem, it's a douchebag carrier and phone manufacturer business plan.

    The reason for the fragmentation is that the phone manufacturers and carriers don't want old phones updated. That would cut into sales of newer shinier phones.

    Google is doing the right thing for the consumer by supporting older hardware that has the horsepower to run new versions of Android and the competition from Google will cause some of the phone manufacturers and carriers to offer better upgrade support.

    No, that is why you keep the original packaging. When it quits working because of some tragedy like the glued in battery taking a dump, you are supposed to put it back in it's original packaging and add it to your iShrine.

    Also saving the box means you don't have to pay UPS or the post office ~$20 to buy a new box to pack your computer, DVR, whatever.

    $20? You don't need to buy an iBox to ship it, you can use a regular cardboard shipping box like us non-i peones do.

    If Orifice 2013 got rid of the ribbon I would consider getting it to replace my little used Orifice 2010. Until then i will continue to use Libre Office.
