Yeah, the giving-small-plastic-pins to kids thing is disagreeable. But the actual medium(s) for this isn't necessarily all that important because the idea is potentially quite valuable. One thing that I thought of was toggling push-buttons (like old-skool Caps Lock keys? But smaller.) Meh.

This makes me wonder.. might there be a game resembling DDR for NES? If not.. how much do those cartridges hold and would it be feasible to create one? *ponders*
Bet someone'll blame it on a popular game that involves killing [innocent] driving solar cars. He's probably an outcast; doesn't have (m)any friends, dresses in a lot of black...
Every show I crew for, I bring my laptop and a WAP for the entire cast to use backstage. Amazingly, it's only caused one late entrance in months, and one with the incorrect costume. I'm actually working on interfacing it to the light board so that I can stage-manage from backstage when we're short on people in black clothes..
for I'll be deemed an insensitive, lying trollclod.
Naw, I'm on the laptop that I gave my girlfriend, in her basement, posting via Lynx over telnet through a.. actually, TWO servers I have accounts on. It's not powerful enough to run a normal browser, and I've been too lazy to download Lynx for Win, otherwise I wouldn't be doing it quite this way.
Oh yeah, and her house is on th^H^H a moon.. of Saturn. (Might as well make it worthwhile if noone's going to believe me.)
Earth will make first contact with aliens within 20 years.
Eh? Aliens will make first contact with Earth within 20 years. I.E., we'll use our super-duper radio telescopes to hear a strange signal that seems like it's possibly not terrestrial in origin.
What other sorts of inexpensive things could be added to our gear to make it more interesting?
Linux, duh. You could use the beams to send binary-encoded data as standard input, and flash the LEDs, which I assume the gear already has, to signal output.
Actual thought I just had: instead of emitting a fairly standard sound to signify a hit, acquire some digital recorders (talking picture frames and gift cards come to mind) and record stuff into them, then hack them to go off in place of the usual speaker. One could even have a bunch of them per suit, and have a [pseudo-]random circuit to trigger one of them each hit.
Also, I think it would be fairly easy to add more sensors.. that would make it better, I think.
My best guess is that they thought you were talking about a firewall/router. A one-port would actually have two jacks, one on the outside and one inside. Using a one- or two-port (and a large hub) is significantly cheaper for a bunch of computers than buying a 12-port router.
I sorta figured it was a miniseries, but didn't remember it being broken up (by episode). Of course I know it's based on a book. I just have to finish the last book or two of the series.
Can someone tell me what happens in the Flash thing? Something is seriously malfunctioning and it stops after hitting Big Red Button twice. It seems that Earth explodes, but I want to see it:-/
..except for stuff like Rum Raisin, ick. Oh, and practically the entire Little Debbie line of snacks, burgers, chips, a lot of standard Mexican foods, oh - Chinese, for sure.. uhm, brownies. Everyone likes brownies.
I don't mean to pull a "Do this because I'm self-righteous and the way I do things should be the law", but I run a slew of XP Pro boxes and've never had anything but the best time with avoiding Uncle Mic. It's kinda curious, though - it seems to me that there's only one product key for it. I lost the key I had, then searched online and the only one I could find _anywhere_ was identical to mine.
There are plenty of interactive forms of art..

Videogames as Art

..which provide entertainment. Bush mazes actually came to mind first (following really funky artcars, e.g., a VW Beetle painted like a ladybug - these are interactive with a drivers' license.) What about the windows on an entire side of a skyscraper used to play Tetris via your cell phone? I think that surely constitutes an artly piece.. it's certainly creative, and the point of it, by no means, is purely to entertain by gameplay; if it were noninteractive, if it was played by computer instead of a person, would it not be a work of art? What if one just *painted* a side of a building with a screenshot (whether real or not) of a game? Just because it's from a videogame means it can't possibly be art, right? If you think so, consider a painting of Monopoly or Candy Land
I wonder how it's supposed to be "powered". Where's the plutonium receptacle? Actually, how was it powered in the second movie? I don't remember anything obvious.. it wasn't by any normal means, that's for certain. Dang, break isn't for another hour.. I can't wait that long to research this.
Also, from eBay: 5-speed manual transmission But also: Transmission: Automatic What's up with that?
Use 1.0 - the real-time simulating actually works. You also have a 'reset' feature. If you want to remove a single component, drag it to the right side of the space.
I tried conversing with them through a relay, but they refused the call:/ Maybe it was the relay that refused to make the connection.. I'll call the relay through the relay and ask to talk to the manager. But I'll order a pizza first, if they'll let me. Mmmm, cheese. We'll see if they can get it hear^H^Hre in 30 min this time..
Uh, maybe he's got a Dworak layout?

Try it on the small, simple-minded people in your office that try to look like they're doing intelligent work.
Don't forget the underbody lighting, blingin' rims, and 6 DVD players
This makes me wonder.. might there be a game resembling DDR for NES? If not.. how much do those cartridges hold and would it be feasible to create one? *ponders*
Naw, it was a train. ..That can fly.
And obviously travel through time.
I meant to write a screenplay around that idea.. I should get to that.

Are you saying that the best winning move is not to play?

I watched the Guide several years ago, and was really kinda disappointed. It's cool that it's finally .. being remade? What exactly is going on?

you get negative reinforcement when you take an aspirin - avoiding a bad thing (the headache)
I mean, btw; not to be picky or anything, it just frustrates me how much I see this mistake (though IANApsychanything)
Please don't hurt me.
