Is it still fashionable to bash Americans? Because the last time I checked when Americans bashed anyone else we were called xenophobes, racists, and ignorant.
Also, fun fact: The "wast" majority of Americans aren't anything like you describe.
What's interesting about Iran is that after 9/11 they seemed to be the only country in that part of the world that felt bad about what happened. I believe they were one of the few countries that held candlelight vigils that night and prayed for the victims of the attacks.
That IS what he said. "Anything higher than free is used as justification to pirate anyway. What's the point in going low when the "opposition" doesn't want to pay anyway?"
Well excuse me for not keeping track of a company I don't do business with. Let me rephrase it:
It's like how Dell claimed they'd switch to AMD to get Intel to give them a better deal for years, but Intel finally caught on and Dell had to either buy AMD or admit they were liars.
You mention 5 of the 300 or so improvements Leopard offers over Tiger. I await your reply that addresses them. Maybe you could even consider adding more sarcasm to make yourself seem like an even bigger asshole, too. That'd be great.
They're under the impression that they can force Apple to change something. It's just like how every year or so Dell "considers" AMD processors. And after a month they sign a new contract with Intel and save a few bucks.
And from what I understand about the iTMS, Apple keeps something like $.10 per song, with another $.10 going to pay for the delivery (bandwidth and servers aren't free, no matter how hard I wish they were). And everything else goes to the label, and after that I believe the artist gets about $.06 per song, but I could be off by a few pennies.
Actually that's not quite correct. You can't have a monopoly without government assistance, so any market in which a monopoly exists is not a truly free one.
"because it is not currently advertising it in this way"
That's actually not accurate. In the European market, the ads I've seen say "BUY A PS3 THE BLU-RAY PLAYER! (also plays games)"
Microsoft's pushing the 360 as a media center and a gaming console, but they're still trying to push it as a media center. And if people liked playing movies on their consoles the Wii wouldn't be selling as well as it is.
It's not "it doesn't play movies" but more of a "It plays games."
"The Wii is in 1st place in large part because of its price."
You make a good point, even if it's wrong. The price is part of why the Wii is on top. The majority of the reason is because Nintendo says it's a Game Console first and foremost. It's not a Blu-Ray player. It's not a media center. It's a low priced game console that offers strong gameplay and a unique controller.
"they ought to advertise linux compatibility. A lot of people are interested in linux but don't want to reformat their computer. Selling a PS3 with ubuntu installed would be pretty popular."
What universe do you live in? Just because on/. there are a bunch of people who are interested in Linux doesn't mean that people in the real world are. Go to a Gamestop and ask random customers if they'd buy a PS3 to run Linux. I guarantee you that the majority of them will ask if it's a new game coming out.
OXYGEN? Lucky. Back in MY day there was simply nothing, and after a while it blew up.
So either remove all taxes and welfare systems or encourage foreigners to stay here.

Learn things before you speak. You sound like a High School Junior. "OMG BUSH R EVIL N GUBBEMENT R BAD CUZ DEY KIL PEOPL."
Honestly, things are a lot more complex than you think.

Do get the joke you require additional vespene gas.
You act like the default relationship with the government should be love. You should hate your government until they give you a reason not to.
"more like the morality of Gandhi."
So instead of neo-GOP racists we'll have Gandhi's racism? Sweet.
You look at Dick and the neo-Cons but you never look at actual REAL conservatives.
So he's a social engineer skript kiddie?
Once we bring Democracy to the Moon we'll go after the Martians who were sending weapons to the Moonanites!
The fact that they're spending that much proves they're NOT really Republicans.

Maybe after reading that you can see what you did there.
Good luck!

How's that?
"...software for Windows has a chance of killing the operating system..."
Doesn't that say more about the OS than the software you're running on it?

Thank you Internet Retard #1098693. Looks to me that #763666 has seniority, though. And a much cooler UID.

Because it makes it easier to tell a high end 2.8ghz processor from a "budget" 2.8ghz processor?
