I'm sorry, I don't understand your post. What do you mean by "only allow blue rays disk to play if a title has a release in blueray and dvd."? All titles are released in dvd, of which some are released in blueray.
I'm not saying it was a good thing, but obviously it was because the surrender was not forthcoming. As for the idea of detonating bombs for demonstration purposes, there was barely enough material for the two bombs they did use..
Absolute rubbish! What part of Europe are you talking about? Here in the UK I don't know anybody without a landline, and it's always one of the first things to get connected when you move into a new house.
Prolog has got to be the way forward here. With the Eclipse constraint libraries I programmed a solver in about 10 lines. All I had to do was specify the constraints on rows (all_different and sum_to(45)) columns and squares.
Ok, I guess you misunderstood me. I wasn't saying they they were poor because it was their own fault or anything, the OP seemed to be saying that their opinions counted less because they were poor. Either way, I didn't see what relevance it had.
I'm not 100% sure what you mean. I think you're assuming that I'm from the US to start with, which is false. Are you also suggesting that the reason they are annoyed is *because* they are poor, and if they were rich they wouldn't mind? I'm not quite sure what you're getting at here.
I've got to say, I don't really feel that your argument stands up here. As an example, you say "The Kingdom of the Netherlands is only 52 years old" which stands in stark contrast to a Golden Age of maritime dominance starting in the 17th century. Your position is too pedantic to avoid taking into account the addition of Hawaii in 1959 and therefore the USA is only 47 years old.
Claiming that a change of government or style of government destroys a country and creates a completely new one is naive in the extreme.
The trouble is, it's the case for everything. It's a choice between paying more to get it now, and waiting, sometimes for a very long time, to pay the same as it actually cost in America. It's all very well to say "buy a PS3 in 2010", but should I currently only be using any technology that is at least 3 years old? I appreciate your comment, and I certainly enjoy older games, but the problem remains.
Side note: do you know how much the PS3 will cost in Japan?
You say we let ourselves "get screwed so hard" and "they just do not get it" but what can we actually do about it? We know the prices are significantly higher, for no good reason, but we still have to pay them if we want the product. American companies enjoy getting their free 30% markup over here, and they even charge more here than Europe, despite the fact that they don't even need to do any translation here.
Last time I checked Japanese didn't have problems with pronouncing Wakizashi either!

Sure, I'd be surprised if anyone was running below 1024, "huge" was referring to our kind of screen sizes, which really are the exception rather than the norm. I think my second point still stands.
Except the washing machines in my college, that remained on the cashless system all year.

Just to play Devil's Advocate here (I'm at 1600x1200), firstly as pointed out by other replies a lot of people don't have screens that are that huge. Secondly, the BBC website is designed to adhere to certain standards of readability, and this involves presenting information in a primarily vertical fashion. People tend to lose track of text that flows over more than around 60 characters per line (cf Latex).
Not to be pedantic, but while I might not want to dedicate a large chunk of ram to a specific processor in such a manor, I might want to live in that manor, and maybe have my serfs carry out the computations for me.
He's talking about the cut that credit card companies take from retailers, not the interest they charge to consumers.
Don't feed the troll! This post is clearly a sarcastic joke...

Get a new sig.

Have a google for Beryl/Compiz. That'll get you on the right track.

He says he uses Eclipse, and you are inferring that he although he said he does, in actual fact he doesn't.

Why do they have to be poor?

Also interested to know *why* you would ever disable syntax highlighting?
I look forward to the rolling blackouts when it does.
I'd like to know how, which, why, if you don't mind?

Um, America != World...
