aah, this brings back memories...
a while ago I was stuck with an pentium 133 Mhz, and 32 MB ram machine.. i installed red hat 7.1 (.2?) with KDE (and gnome) and it even ran OpenOffice!
I even made it a multiboot with windows ME:)
The book that changed my life was Enders Game. I am not really sure that this is the right title, becouse I read the Dutch version, and in Dutch the title is: Ender wint (Ender wins). It is not really a book about computers, but a novel about a boy that is going to rescue the world without he knows it (or wants it).
A while back I installed red hat 7.1 on an old machine (133 mhz, 32 mb ram) and both KDE and gnome (can't remember which versions) ran on it. It was slow, and the system was swapping all the time, but it ran =]
I then tried enlightenment and ran even better, and it looked better too!
BOF (Bits Of Freedom) has an document online [dutch] where they examined what our politicians voted on several "computer/internet related" laws, including software patents. (English version of BOF is here, but I couldn't find an english version of this document)
*shhh* Linus, *shhhh* I am your father *shhhh*
With the bathtub girl ass co host?
I'll bet that they just talk about random stuff and after that they go: "Uhm, now youre here, we have some bugs in our code. Mind to take a look?"
But make damn sure you are armed.
That's why it's called Duke Nuken Forever

It swapped alot, but it worked :-)
Oh... I also work sometimes
So... Does this mean that games will be cheaper (or free) in the future?
Probably not I guess, but they should be IMHO.

Who want to go to the msn portal anyway?
They use euro's now in italy.
But it's fun to see that I could make more money playing a game than I earn now as an intern.
They send hyperlinks via e-mail now.
That sounds good!
I'm in!
