  2. Re:No it hasn't on Solar Has Overtaken Gas, Wind As Biggest Source of New US Power (bloomberg.com) · · Score: 1

This "efficiency" is, also, a debatable factor. Solar PV will improve with tech and time.

Yet, consider ramifications of the more efficient "dirty" sources (nuclear, coal, gas).
How much does their damage and remediation costs affect their efficacy?
Not to mention their ultimate (relatively short term) depletion.

  3. Looks like bad science... on Honeybees Seem To Understand the Notion of Zero, Study Finds (sci-news.com) · · Score: 1

Seems like a poor experiment to me.

I might speculate that the bees learned that there was a reward where there were fewer 'elements'.
It seems a stretch to conclude that 'zero' has any bearing. 'Least' seems more likely.

Or, perhaps they sensed where the sugar reward was! A more valuable trait than realizing 'zero'!

These monolith corps need to be reigned in. That is what regulations are for.

I suggest a capitalism cap at $100M. Anything after that goes to social services and tax programs.

  8. Rather obvious, isn't it? on Microsoft Sticks With Controversial 'GVFS' Name Despite Backlash (medium.com) · · Score: 1

It seems rather obvious, doesn't it?

MS has been on a mission to swallow-up as much open source stuff as possible.
It seems safe to speculate the effort is likely to ultimately squash open source value in an effort to increase MS revenue stream.

Notice that they have since made hostile moves to (buy) Github!
Likely another attempt to circumvent legal issues and serve the ultimate purpose (thwart open source stuff).

Solution 2: Outlaw autopilot to force drivers to pay attention!

  11. Who gets the royalties? on Congress Is Looking To Extend Copyright Protection Term To 144 Years (wired.com) · · Score: 1

After then, any further copyright royalties go to benefit the public; NOT the inheriting entity - human or corporate.
Oh, and those secondary copyright terms can be limited.

Yes, of course they are humans.
They are just not physically capable of some things that the common, regularly occurring humans can do.
e.g. Excel at basketball -- with those regular humans.

Seems to me that the dwarf planets are physically challenged (handicapped?) when it comes to gravity.

So, when you consider full context of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, we US Citizens have already been violated!

"Internet access" needs to be reclassified to distinguish it from "cable TV", and regulated separately.
Even though, Comcast is sending TV digitally down the same pipe.

  20. So sorry that you missed the point here.

There are actually 2 characteristics that make Trump a deep danger to us all:
    1) He lies when it suits him.
    2) He lies when he totally mis-understands issues. Which makes him a dangerous idiot as well.

The article you link to merely boast about what Trump accomplished - whether detrimental or not.
Here's some links to many of his lies:
