Advertising companies need to stop screwing-up the internet like they did TV.
Stop shoving demeaning, insulting crap at us!
I hate to say it, yet we really do need regulation in this country/global economy.
And, if your site requires me to disable my ad blockers, then I don't need to visit your site.
I have, and sometimes do, click on simple ad links, yet totally react against popup, auto-start anything.
Mouse-overs suck, too. It is perfectly fine to allow me to click first.
Dear Mr Kavanaugh:
"Websites" ALREADY pay a fee to be on the internet. They are already charged HOSTING fees.
Then, that HOST PROVIDER has already established a contract with an ISP to have access there FOR those hosted sites.
ANY other move to allow FURTHER fees to be allowed is a blatant, unethical, and greedy
push to further line the pockets of the already over-compensated execs of those monopolistic providers as-is.
Further, if we, the people, do not have our government elected officials break these monopolies down,
or severely regulate them, then we, the people, are in for some very unsavory times!
So, Mr Kavanaugh, please WAKE the FUCK UP!!! You'd better decide FOR THE PEOPLE here.
Wow. What an idea!
Before you die, give all of your assets away, take out a large loan and give the money to your survivors, and run up massive debt.
That'll stick it to them! Whatcha gonna do? Kill me?!
Just what we consumers need: more corporate tentacles into our psychy!
Advertisements on HBO shows now?
I have yet to watch more than 90 minutes of HBO this month as it is; with the incessant reruns of lousy movies,
and mediocre mini-series, it is already not worth the premium cost.
(Oh. Wait! I guess that would justify advertisements on HBO!
Kinda sucks the way we humans tend to fuck things up as we go along!)
I partially agree, the problem isn't the plastic straws, it is the lack of collection and recycling.
Indeed. Recycling has gotten nearly prohibitively expensive. And, China has stopped the vast majority of recycle imports.
I'll bet that plastic straws are an insignificant dent anyway.
This is an apparent media trick to build public favor with McDonalds.
This is a no-brainer: Big Biz is, by far, the leading culprit.
Think about it. Do the easy research. Big biz either swallows-up those startups early (usually hostile takeover),
or squashes them (via product/patent theft, direct interference/manipulation, etc...) before they can get established.
Not to mention the difficulty in getting startup capital.
This is why big biz needs tighter regulation.
History has shown that big biz gets less and less individual-friendly as it gets bigger.
Wouldn't it be easier, and cheaper, to migrate, and maintain, the field workers to Linux?
Guess we'll have to mix it up a bit, then! ;-)
I know that I'd take public transit more often if it were more convenient.
i.e. More frequent, cheaper, and closer.
Just seems to make sense to put more focus on improving these infrastructure items along with fixing roads/bridges/tunnels.
Rosebud! Rosebud. Rosebud...
There is a reason: money.
Would you like to buy some SSL certificates?
How about if Google then forks over the ever increasing cost of certificates/SSL for sites?
Many websites are hosted where only the host can install certificates. This significantly increases costs.
And then, HTTPS breaks and a new need for security arises!
Isn't unregulated life in a capitalistic world grand?!
Perhaps the take-away here is to buy SSL certificate company stocks before this faux bubble breaks!
Abso-freaking-lutely! Totally agree!

Why not just use WordPad?
It already does all of that stuff, and more.

Look at that article. Notice the pollution collected on the EPA front doors in the picture!
Just adds to my cynicism over the anti-protection EPA policies.
We should have electricity distributed the way Tesla intended - wirelessly!
The REAL reason is that so much of recent movies are crap that they need to hide this from potential consumers.
That is funny. I wanted to rate this "Funny", yet did not have the option.
Do you mind if I perpetuate the term "Arrrrrdio"?
I'll bet that at least a significant few of these sufferers have some level of diabetes causing issues.
If it takes 7 years to collect 5 grams, then the scale-up would be enormous.
according to a 2000 study.
Does this mean this study was done in 2000?
Or, is the data from this study compared to a different study in 2000?

Really! This "All Access" crap is totally focused on gleaning more money out of an old idea.
Way too much crap (TV) is out there now. We'd watch more if it were not so poorly done, or at extra cost.
I refuse to pay for these special services and then watch commercial ads as well!
Your crap, and greed, are way to abusive.
Agreed.
Unless someone there has ideas beyond just milking it, like an original story perhaps?!
While we need taxes to maintain government, we also need those taxes to be fair.
All I ask is for true, open, sensible, audited taxes that are fair.
So, then, who should be taxed? The seller, and/or the buyer?

I suggest that you do not mule any ballon-pkg'd dope over any border.
That is a long time to have dope stuck in your digestive track.
On the other hand, it'd be unlikely you'd get caught even if CBP wanted to await a few evacuations just to see...
...Mexico sank 1 cm, and the Earth's spin slowed!
Oh, and 234 million cockroaches were squished!
