  1. Bullshit on the intended premise here.

If you have cable, you can see that choices are really NOT greater.
Nearly all shows on cable are re-run so much that there is nearly nothing - NOTHING - new to watch most of the time.
Thus, there is diminished value these days compared to 2000 - and at a higher cost.

And with that idiot Ajit Pai's conformance with this administrations war on badly needed regulations, it will get worse.

Our famous capitalistic society is quickly turning into oligarcic dog-eat-dog unfair abuse.
800-pound-gorilla, elepahant-in-the-room too-big-to-fail corporations will only continue to get away with their abusive practices.
and, apparently, they have you fooled!

It seems a major no-brainer to have severe regulations on ANY AI being developed.

  5. How about agreeing to stop the "evil Americans" propaganda, and actually reverse that?!

Most PRNK citizens believe that Americans are evil creatures bent on hurting them. They all want to kill, literally, all Americans (as the jihadist do).

  6. Just as well. My ZTE smartphone ignores my settings anyway.
The more notifications and auto-whatever settings I disable, the MORE start running!

Now I have to turn my cell phone off when I sleep because I keep getting these STUPID notifications about stuff I disabled; thinking it is an emergency call!
    W T F ? ! ? ! ?

  7. Perhaps we can blame part of it on Trump, even if only indirectly (a man who has gotten ahead in life by saying asinine things).

You need to have been out of touch with reality in the first place to have voted for Trump.
Trump is just further perpetuating "fake realities"!

I find what I need at a reasonable price, and order it. It arrives and works fine.

Vinyl is no where near CD quality and versatility. LPs will NEVER make mainstream in mobile/automobile players.

Even CDs are going away in lieu of digital downloads and streams.

I will be selling short any vinyl stock I see. This is a mini-bust about to happen.

  10. What's to stop the delivery person from snatching back a pkg after delivery; using that pic as "proof"?

How is Amazon hurting the USPS? Seems to me that more pkgs is more revenue for the USPS.
"Delivery boy" is the USPS's job, is it not?

  11. There is no such thing as a truly random number.

Netflix was amenable to having their movies play on big screens in France, but a law in the country requires movies to not appear in home platforms for 36 months after their theatrical release.

Seems like waiting 3 years before selling a now-forgotten movie to individuals is like shooting one's self in the foot. Yes?
Allowing further distribution after having dwindled the theatrical runs seems a far better benefit for everyone here - producers (continued revenue stream) AND consumers (still have interest in a release, and likely at a cheaper viewing).

ANY attempt by ANY entity to infringe on our right to Freedom of Speech SHOULD be met with a loaded gun (oh - yeah, that other Right we have)!

Presenting unsubstantiated info is akin to lying if portrayed as truth without facts as proof.
Trump gets away with it by qualifying his false facts and lies with a phrase like "they are saying" or "I am hearing..."

This society (USA) is NOT a monarchy or a dictatorship (YET!), and our Rights should be defended to the death (preferably of the infringing party).
I will NOT be bullied out of my Rights.

There is a difference between "bullying" someone, and simply stating your opinion.
Stating facts about someone's shortcomings is not bullying. Grow up!

Oh, and one last thing: I think that anyone that voted for Trump is a foolish idiot. They need to wake up and see ALL the FACTS (not alternate facts).

Like car ads that focus on sexuality; obviously hoping you would buy a car to become someone you are not.
We have an obesity epidemic now because fast food companies have convinced you that you need 32 ounces of soda with those 2 huge burgers and fries - because the value is better than your health! WTF?!

How about advertisers actually work on better, honest descriptions of products so that we potential consumers can see the ACTUAL value of something and base our purchase on REAL facts.
