    it is the MPAA's fault, the movie people just can't seem to keep they're employees from copying and distributing movies over the internet. instead of tracking down and suing the people who donwload the movies, the MPAA should find the employee who released the movie and sue him/her

    There ware about 15 planes stranded at the field. It costs a LOT of money to have a $250,000 Piper disassembled, shipped, re-assembled and then have the airframe re-certified. Anyoe in the AOPA/EAA/ General Aviation community will turn red and rant for hours when one goes and mentions Meigs or Daley.

    he left a runway long enough for the planes already there to take off, he just didn't allow anyone new to land

    Exactly who gets to read the email? Low level employees at their lesiure? Filtering robots? Could i get a job at an ISP then start legally reading emails and finding out things about people that they would ratther not have me know? Could a corprate spy get a job at an ISP and read competetior's email as a form of corprate espionage?

    I have a label maker. It cost $2.95 and fits in the palm of my hand. It isn't open source, but the screws come off of the case pretty easily

    However, I can't really see anybody using it on a daily basis. You can just print out large volumes of generic lables and be set for a long time.

    I think the point is to looks pretty. Some people would rather use a pretty desktop w/3D doohickeys that is great for showing off to non-techinical friends, than a super utilitarian, not soo pleasing to the eye window manager. If you really want to be productive, I recommend using the command line

    suppose you haver been making micropayments on your credit card adding to $xxx.xx5 , then pay the credit card bill w/your bank account, then want to withdraw your complete bank account in cash. Does the bank round up; there by taking a loss, round down; cheating you, or slice a penny in 1/2?
