"Canton, MA September 17, 2004 - Kryptonite today announced it will provide free product upgrades for certain locks purchased since September 2002, in response to consumer concerns about tubular cylinder lock technology. Consumers can visit the company's Website (www.kryptonitelock.com) on Wednesday afternoon, September 22, 2004, to learn how they can participate in the security upgrade program."
Acestea ii vor ajuta, cred ei, sa bata cu racheta in poarta cosmosului. Nu-i nici platina, nici argintul care dadeau apei oxigenate puterea sa trimita torpila interbelica in curtea dusmanului.
"Now, as a cheap gadget this would all be perfectly acceptable. But when put within the context of its price it borders on crazy. I am all for convergence technologies, but when you consider the Mobile NoteTaker is priced at just under £150 I cannot see many takers. This is more expensive than some colour PDAs we have had in the labs and 50 per cent more than the very useable palmOne Zire 31 which can be found for less than £100. "
I figure that if a person cannot use a PDA they are not going to be able to really use this. If you are one of those people, carry a pack of yellow-stickies.
From the article, they worried about more on building/windows getting damaged, not injury.
Could they take some time and figure out how to control an explosion to help get rid of the danger?
I was about -8.5 and -8. I had moderate (about -2.5) astigmatism in both eyes as well.
Pretty heavy glasses anyway!
With PRK they take your eye and literally scrape (or use a laser) the top layer of eye off. This is why it was painful for me. While that layer is healing, my eyes hurt!!!! With Lasic, they just cut a flap in this layer then do the cornea reshape.
I had to get PRK due to my cornea and the thickness of my cornea. PRK just takes longer to heal.
I had it done 1 month ago. I could not get lasic, I had to have PRK performed. The biggest difference I am told is the pain that I went through.
So far, so good. This has been the first time without needing glasses in 29 years.
I seem to be healing quite well but am a bit far sighted now. Good trade!
One of the hobbies that I have is astronomy. So far my night vision is as good or better than it was (corrected).
No complaints so far.
I have heard the horror stories as well. I researched and made the decision to do it anyway.
If we can confirm that there is/was water on Mars, what does this say about the rest of the Universe? Is water all that common?
If we then associate water with the chance of life, out of the billions of stars, we just ain't alone.

If Mercury's orbit was not inclined with respect to the orbit of the Earth, Mercury would transit across the Sun every 116 days (the period of time between two identical configurations Sun-Mecuri as seen from the Earth; i.e. synodic period). But the inclination of Mercury's orbit (7 degress) causes that most times Mercury's path crosses "above" or "below" the solar disc, without a transit taking place. Therefore, on average, there are only 13 transits per century, separated by intervals ranging from 3.5 to 13 years. Currently, transits of Mercury can only occur during the months of May and November.

Seems to me that a person could make a buck advertising and selling security services with this niche alone.
Who would a person call if they had some problems like this?
