    In areas that are cold enough to require heat to survive, Electricity is not allowed to be the only source of heat. You must have a backup such as propane or a woodstove. I'm not sure but I think its part of building code. If you think people are going to die from the cold, you, like the congressman, are misguided.

    You don't have to go all the way to 140 ft to see the wreck. The Spiegal grove is in 140 ft of water and the structure starts around 60 feet. you have plenty to see around 80 feet.

    I shouldn't have to look up acronyms because an editor fails at adding one to the summary. Since I had to look it up anyway -- for those as clueless as me, UAV means Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.

    I did quite a bit of netflix streaming last night too. It was mostly fine, but at one point, it did stop and the "quality bar" dropped off a bit and it re-buffered. The quality sucked and when the movie ended 20 min later, I got up and did something else for awhile. There was a problem, but it wasn't with my provider, or my setup.

    There are no Crocodiles in Florida, except in zoo's or animal parks. There are plenty of Alligators however.

    Actually, the article is about crocodiles and it is correct. There are crocodiles. About 2000, the species has made a great comeback from near extinction due in large part to the cooling canals at Turkey Point power plant. There are 186 Miles of cooling canals that are 5 feet deep and 200 feet wide. If you look on google maps near the homestead raceway, it looks like a giant radiator. This area is protected from all civilian interference and the animals thrive there. Other areas that the crocodiles go to are the biscayne bay and the everglades. they travel back and forth using the canal systems.

    Actually you can't shoot them because they're protected. There are only about 2000 of them in south Florida.

    I was thinking of Buying a new dell laptop and someone told me that I should wait for windows 7 to come out. I said that I probably would just put Linux on it as soon as I got it, but then it occurred to me, I would still have to boot into windows to update my Iphone, and use Itunes. I have gone completely legit in the music, movie and software areas and I like being able to download DRM free music whenever I feel like it. Bottom line, you can't do that with Linux. So I said fuck it and I'm buying a MAC. Don't get me wrong, I still have my desktop and that hasn't booted into windows in at least 9 months.

    Try looking for hand readers. I use them everyday and they are fairly reliable. It basically takes an image of your hand and compares it to a previously taken image. If you're below the difference threshold, you get in. You either punch in a code to tell it which image to compare to or you can swipe a badge.

    My supervisors work 9 nines. That's 81 hours every two weeks, and they're supposed to get every other friday off. The work more like 11-12 hours a day and my direct supervisor hasn't had one of those days off in 5 months. I would never work for a salary. I however get paid 1.5 hours for _every_ hour of overtime I work unless it's doubletime. Oh and the NRC actually regulates how much overtime each person can get. 16 in a 24, 24 in a 48 and 72 in a week. But that's all about to change. It's going to get alot tighter.

    If the cruise ship has a sprint network on board, a kindle would give you access to wikipedia and e-mail. It even has a primitive web browser. since it's a kindle all the wireless charges were included in the price of the device.
