I've always used this guide to enable the buttons on my MX1000

Unfortunately, even Ubuntu hasn't gotten to the point where mouse configuration doesn't require diving into the CLI.
Out of curiosity, how do you keep such a long uptime with Win2003 while maintaining current patches. It seems every other set of patches requires a reboot.
As one of the Flickr comments said though, it seems to be a demo model. There is a display sign behind the macbook in one of the pictures. Who knows what kind of abuse it had?
You can already watch LOST for free on abc.com with advertisements. The picture quality is pretty good too. This has been going on since about 2/3 through this past season.
So have you gotten any responses regarding your Resume? The reason I'm asking is that seems like a really good idea. I was just wondering how it's worked out for you.
I think a lot of Slashdotters still have a bad taste in their mouths from the whole Rootkit thing. I know whenever I am at Fry's or Best Buy, I avoid giving even a little thought to buying most Sony products. I really don't want much to do with them anymore. I was looking for a compact laptop lately. And the VAIO seemed nice, but I decided to go with a similarly spec'd Toshiba instead, if only for the fact that it was "not Sony".
I remember my 10th grade Histroy teacher would always tell us that communism doesnt work because people are greedy. And that leads to some gaining power over others, and thus true communism can never exist. People get screwed over.
I find it ironic that Capitalism also suffers many problems because of greed being its driving force. People also get screwed over in a Capitalist system.
So boys and girls, we all get screwed over some how.
Not to mention that it's a lot easier to get carpal tunnel on a keyboard vs a mouse. And as the parent post brings out, what if I'm a graphic designer you insensitive clod!
I'm just waiting for the scammers to register .corn which, in the usual compact, sans-serif font of most web browsers, looks a lot like .com
If you're more interested in drawing shapes and the like, try Inkscape.
There's always Portable Firefox as well.
What about Mr. Fusion?

So what would that make Super Ultra Super Evil Linux?
There's an "I for one..." joke in there somewhere.
I guess no more ATI cards in Macs now that Apple uses Intel and ATI is now a part of AMD.

Just reminded me of Towelie from South Park. "Don't forget to bring a towel!" Towelie cracks me up.
IIRC the Abraham Lincoln android was from Disneyland.

Even with the fancy effects, the Linux desktop experience is still ugly. Window managers need to get some real graphic designers for their interface.
I have Verizon's DSL service and they don't block port 80. I can run a small little web server through it.
I don't know, but these Korean dog clones definately have a Seoul.
"Minority Report" anyone?
You also misspelled 'overlords'
And what about getting incoming calls. Those would still use your cell minutes, right?

I don't understand why Remote Desktop is so significant. VNC does the same thing, and is supported by every mainstream computing platform.
