Moveon.org is not Michael Moore. IMHO, Moveon.org has a lot more credibility than Moore. I receive their news letters, and they never ever leave a feeling of doubt that what they are doing is right. Moore is shady. Moveon.org back up their arguements with facts (the non-distorted type), and always conduct themselves professionally (i.e. not preaching at the Oscars). And I truely appreciate their use of the media - an integral part of the system - against the system.

If I'm missing something here let me know (as I'm sure somebody will). I've heard plenty of good arguements against Michael Moore, but I haven't yet heard a good arguement against Moveon.org.

The "lesser of the two evils" arguement and the anti-"lesser of the two evils" arguement are both holding less and less value.

Though "W" and Kerry may seem pretty much the same, it's the administrations that need changing more than anything else.

We've all seen what the current regime is capable of. They are pure evil. I do not think George W. Bush is pure evil. I don't think he's smart enough for that. But when you have advisors who lead you into evil, then the fun starts. It is worsened by the fact that Bush won't listen to anyone else. Not the "American People" (buzzword!), not the government, and certainly not the rest of the world.

This is where the difference between the two lie. I think Kerry would be more open to suggestion from watchdog groups like Moveon.org, as well as our allies.

Those that hate Bush but say they're going to vote for him because he's the lesser of two evils are either retarted or insane. One definition for insanity is doing the same thing twice and expecting a different result. I am a Green, and this year, Nader is not getting my vote. Nor will the Green Party candidate. Nor will Michael Badnarik. John Kerry is a douchebag but I'm voting for him anyway.

You should'a warned us you're linking to a porn site.

Given that there is no porn on the home page, only links, there was no need to. If you can't decide by then whether or not you should be there, that is not my problem. Secondly, it is not all porn. I've seen a lot of normal, no-nakedness pictures on there. Many are quite interesting.

Regardless, it's not the same thing at all. An unprotected gallery on photobucket is much more fair game than stealing someone's memory card and platering it all over the web.

No one stole anything. Where do you get off saying that? It was found. When you find something and it has no name on it, how the hell is that stealing? If I find 20 bucks on the ground, I'm not going around to world+dog and asking if it's theirs. That is fair game. The majority of the people on Photobucket and Live Journal who don't have thier pictures password protected are ignorant of that fact and don't think about the possible consequences. So therefore they should be taken advantage of? If we're sticking with your logic, then no they shouldn't.

Though Firewire isn't as prominent as USB, it's still a security flaw, and that leads me to believe that MS isn't all that interested in security as much as shoving some competitors out of the way.

The bands who have done well (the one's I've seen at least), are doing it because they love it. They're thrilled that people are willing to pay them for it, but they'd do it even if they weren't getting payed.

Much of the ill will regarding clinton came from his history. He stated that he "loathed the military", and subsequently dodged the draft.

Now, I can understand this sentiment. However, what I can't understand is why no one seems to mind that Dick Cheney dodged the draft in about every way he could think of, and W joined the Guard which was a good way to dodge it back in the day. Yet they are so highly revered for their "patriotism." Mmmmkaaay.

Military members can be prosecuted under the UCMJ for adultery alone; sexual indiscretions with a subordinate (ie. Miss Lewinsky) are even worse.

The funny thing about this (though it's not funny at all) is that when I was deployed (with the guard), this shit went on ALL THE TIME. The girls would give it up willingly, and in return? Would you believe an E-4 with 2 years in service got promoted to E-5 before one of my good friends who had 12 years in service? All because she had a nice rack. I can only speak for my deployment, but I have no doubt in my mind that this shit is military-wide. Clinton would have fit right in as an officer, or better yet, a warrant officer.

we haven't even started talking about his politics.

Yeah, like that horrible economy we had. Whew. And that deficit. And my God, those awful humanitarian projects... and on and on and on.
