    I've seen a model organism with four chromosomes develop a new genetically stable chromosome.

    FWIW, evolution NEVER claims to be the origin of life, it is a most likely explanation of the diversity of life on this planet.

    I've never seen any evidence of God.

    I'm from San Francisco, where all of our restaurants, entertainments, incredible wilderness areas, and so on make TV a non-important part of my life.

    My 26" TV doesn't even have all the colors anymore, but I don't care. If I want to watch something on a big screen, I have projectors at work I can check out and take home.

    Interesting. I was actually blabbing on a different forum the other day on the fame of being the first to exploit apple users on a widescale, and pondering the use of facebook to social engineer the spreading. It seemed easier than attacking MacOS, just exploit the users instead of the software.

    I don't think this even has to do with rights.

    People are born with rights.

    Copyright is a protection that is granted by the government.

    Nobody can take away your rights.

    The government can change their mind on granted protections.

    I don't know crap about the internals of RPM vs DEB, apt vs yum, or any of that.
    I don't care about the internals, I just want it to work.

    In 12 years of using linux, I've never had a source based distro get so confused that
    I had to resort to using the backups.

    I can say the same thing for Debian derived systems using their package management tools.

    The exact opposite is true in my hands for the red hat derived systems. RPM is a recipe to take a perfectly usable machine and turn it into a brick.

    I don't really care about the internals, one of those things is not like the others, at least in my hands.

    Lessen federal power, sure. We can get trim a lot of crap from this beast
    and all be better off. I question some of the branches he wants to cut tho.

    Lessen corporate power, even better. I'm all for taking back corporate personhood.
    I'm much more concerned about the damage a big brother government is doing to our society when it is only serving the corporate interests.

    Removing safety nets from society, not so good. Social programs give people an
    option other than criminal activity to get by during hard times.

    Turning the private sector into a provider of basic
    infrastructure for society, not so good, probably horrible.
    Private business is not motivated by a desire to better serve the
    people, but to better server the share holders. The private sector
    can't fix everything. The free market is a myth. Ron Paul would
    return us to the good old days of living in debt off the company
    store, longer hours, lower wages, effectively instituting slavery
    for 85% of the population, while weakening the educational system to
    prevent any chance of mobility in society.

    I don't see how Ron Paul's policies would benefit any but the wealthiest
    10% of the country. I guess that's why he is running as a republican, instead
    of an independent strict constitutionalist.

    Ron Paul believes government is not functional, and therefore is unlikely to be able to run a functional government.

    Ron Paul wants to gut social programs people have worked hard over the last 50 years to get.

    Ron Paul would want to abolish our dept of education(student loans), the IRS, dept of homeland security, FEMA, participation in the UN, participation in NATO, and contributions to unicef.

    Ron Paul is no savior for this country, he is just another republican looking to weaken the government.

    Katrina, Iraq, Unaccountability.

    That pretty much sums up the republicans party's domestic, foreign, and fiscal policies. They had complete control of the government. That is their legacy.

    Ron Paul needs a new party, the one he choses to identify with has a lot of baggage.

    I'd say flashing green lights are rare, and the meaning is unstandardized and varies with locale.

    Are people purchasing these things ?

    I was led to believe in a different blog that these are included with service,
    and thus rented units.

    If these are not being sold to customers, but are loaned/leased/rented etc,
    then is there really a GPL violation ?

    I don't think my friend can force me to give him admin rights to my computer,
    just because I loaned it to him . . . probably extends into corporate personhood.

    Ron Paul. He wants to be president and he associates
    with the republican party.

    The republicans had complete control of the government.
    We know what their party is about, they have shown us.
    The republican party is Debt, Katrina, and Iraq.

    If Ron Paul is different, then he needs to distance himself
    from that party.

    Yeah, that's kind of a big thing in some circles. You see, the Republican party had complete control of my national government, and fucked up everything from our ability to respond to domestic crisis, to our ability to resolve international issues at the bargaining table. My country's constitution has been broken. International treaties have been broken. Some of my freedoms have been taken, while others have been reduced. I like the way that free speech can now be limited to designated freedom zones when it suits the ruling class.

    In the post 9-11 world, voting for the republican party empowers the terrorist organization that most threatens the citizens of the United States of America.

    It's actually better for humanity if everyone gets the immunizations.

    Having more people carry diseases and illnesses does not benefit humanity. This leads to environments where diseases flourish, mutate, and potentially render the immunizations the rest of society received useless.

    He could be independent, like Ralph, but he isn't.
    He is a republican. He knows what the republicans have
    done with complete control of the government and chooses to
    associate himself with that party.

    We saw the republican domestic policy in Katrina.

    We see the republican foreign policy in Iraq.

    We see the republican fiscal policy in our massive debt
    and the unaccountability of the money lost in Iraq.

    Ron Paul is just another republican that wants the power.

    1) Steal the keys from the principal to gain administrative access

    2) Broke into the building holding the record books and tests

    3) Changed the record or tests for profit

    Yes, 20 years and a quarter million dollars still sounds fine to me,
    even if there was no computer involved. These kids gained unauthorized
    access to a place where data was kept and changed the public record.

    Let them stand trial and have the chips fall where they may. This isn't changing
    the name on a test, it is an attack on the integrity of public data.
