Any suggestions as to fixing my problem?
I'm tired of it running warm and the noise of all my fans.
[ Asus probe sometimes points out that the +12V is about 13V - could that be causing the problem, and if so, any suggestions on what could be causing it? ]
yes - in fact, our initation partially consists of the beating of fratboys.. err.. who am I mocking here again?

Oh yeah - gonna make me sum green, growing sum green..
What I want to know is; whose kid pilfered the seeds off Wonka, and what wacky punishment will be in store for him? Allowance inflaction? *ka-tchish!* I can't help myself;)
My brother and I saw the thing at Saturn (huge electronic store in hamburg), and it wouldnt let us load any of the games.. think it gave us some kind of out of memory msg. We both laughed at it and left
yes and you best stay off trains, planes and out of automobiles in general. They're all partially mechanical and could all, given the chance, end your life in violent ways.:P
I believe that man will colonize space unless he's destroyed (globalwar, asteroid etc) prior to the required state of technology for interplantary colonization.
It's in our nature to expand, and the passion for travel and exploration is, in many ways, just expressions of our genetical make up (you can further complicate the issue by drawing social-cultural development into the argument, but I'll keep it simple).
It's a question of seeking out living space, and life's logic seems to will that organisms seek out living space that can accomodate them.
We will seek to populate areas that are more attractive than the alternatives; eg. mars being the obvious choice, if we can terraform it.
Will we learn to respect the indeginous life, when considering future homeworlds? I hope so.
Perhaps, when the required resources of terraforming a dead world seem a little more than those required to terraform a "near-compatible" world (mars) - we will allow ideals to influence such a choice. Saying that, I hope we'll distance ourselves from our history of colonization on earth; the enslaving and extermination of cultures and species.
..but will a few microbes stand in our way during the next 200 years? I doubt it. Lets try to find a few of them, before we do the "eden-thing"
Irony: We all die of some near-future disease.

So what you're saying is; someone on earth farted onto a rock with such force that it was propelled into space and hit the very same planet we're investigating at the moment?
You remind me of some annoying character in "Black & white". He kept being snooty, despite my general devine presence and ended most of his sentances with "That is all."
Thats just one of the many cases where ones omnipotence falls short
That site says nothing about zombie infestations, the obvious choice of future attack.
Here are a few free pointers:
Seek out a mall. It will contain canned foods and hardware for fighting off the zombie horde.
Trust your fellow man to go insane under pressure. He/She will attempt to flee a safe location, endangering those that hide within.. or he or she may force you to stay in an a deathtrap.
Yes it does seem to come back to haunt us periodically. I have fond memories of the amiga, but somehow these wild claims of "the next big thing" annoy me. I've done the amiga-zealot thing and I've grown out of it. The platform I mocked ended up stomping my previous platform of choice.
It's like fond childhood memories brought to life, though you know it isnt right: it'll never be the same. Yesterdays Amiga is a thing of the past - a fond memory. Perhaps it's just because I dont believe in the concept. Am I resisting a future platform move? I cant tell
Really? What a coincidence - I've seen the exact same one as well..
While slightly off topic; it has to be said - a good office suit comes with a cool set of eastereggs.
Does anyone know of any cool eastereggs in the latest office package?
Yeah, I might have to look into a new CPU-Cooler and some proper thermal paste
That is all well and good, but often I think to myself:
this is my second and last Athlon*.
*until they sort out the heat issues.
If I run it, set at 1.66/1.7 in the bios it always overheats, reaching a temperature above 80 degreesC.
I haven't overclocked it, and its running on a ASUS A7V266-E, cooled with a Coolermaster HHC-001
.. and yes; the cabinet is open ATM.
Any suggestions as to fixing my problem? I'm tired of it running warm and the noise of all my fans.
