As the article makes clear, those are not behavioral "problems", as you would like to think. They are natural behavioral patterns that have an evolutionary purpose and show homosexuality is a a natural part of their existence.

The point being if they are for animals we can draw parallels to humans. You ARE an animal.

Wow. Nice to see you have your head buried in the sand.

The last few decades of biological and psychological research has shown that homosexuality is, in fact, natural and innate. Some people are born with that orientation. And not just in humans.

Rotten.com has an article on animal homosexuality here that you might find enlightening.

Heh. People didn't see interracial couples as "normal". There were laws against it for many years, they didn't get repealed until the 60s.

A lot of things considered "normal" today - women voting, blacks not being slaves, minorities having equal rights - were not in previous years. What makes you think that our idea of "normal" today is any better than it was a hundred years ago?

The reason why we need "feverish activist campaigns" is because there are bigots like you - the same kind of people who were against civil rights 40 years ago - trying to repress a segment of society. And that's what they're fighting.

That is most certainly NOT the problem. It doesn't just apply to sex, but also class, race, sexual orientation, etc. People are biologically wired to be prejudiced against those that are unlike them. We therefore create societal and cultural institutions that try to counter that.

I don't know who or what labels our society "infantile", as it is anything but.

Conflicts are natural. Having different needs and goals is also natural. You are confusing the problem. The politically correct thing to do these days is to pretend that there are no differences. You cannot deny the sexes are different biologically, mentally, etc. Equality will be achieved by first accepting those differences, not by pretending they don't exist.

    Ok, just kidding.

But you know, you're going way overboard. While sexism is most definitely a problem in today's societies, this little gadget is not a representation of that at all. How is this in any way sexist? It's fun and harmless. I could just as easily see a "virtual boyfriend" game. There's no sex involved here and it no more "objectifies" women than any other form of media.

A society without gender or race? You would do well to read up on some evolutionary biology/psychology. Biodiversity and two sexes are crucial components to ensure our long-term survival. We need to get rid of societal prejudice, not our biological markers. You're attacking the wrong problem.

Gender warfare may not be a "good" or "moral" state, but it IS a natural state. Hmm. Read some Richard Dawkins or Steven Pinker. The two genders evolved to perform different functions and the conflicts between them can be attributed to their differing needs and goals. This doesn't justify sexism, but that doesn't mean we can pretend there are no differences between the sexes, because there are.

If you want to open in the same tab, you use a left-click. Nothing too complicated. I left out the 4th and 5th side buttons for moving back and forward in web pages. I don't think any of this is "confusing". It's highly configurable and you can always change the settings if you like. I use 5 buttons and a scroll wheel, and honestly now I don't know how I lived without it.

Yet these zealots are constantly yelling at him just because he happens to see MS technology in an impartial light. Just because it's by MS doesn't automatically make it bad. In fact if it wasn't for people like Miguel who try to merge practicality with idealism, the open-source movement would be as irrevelant as ever.
