  1. Where is the answer key? on Could You Pass Harvard's Entrance Exam From 1869? · · Score: 1
This test is a fake. How do I know this?
    1) Everything on the internet is fake. Any "facts" you don't agree with can be dismissed because of political bias.
    2) There was never a country called Latinia so there can't be any language called Latin.
    2) If this were a real test, the answer key would be available in a Google search.

If anyone knows where the test answers are posted, please let us know.

When I was reading books of the Leatherstocking Tales by James Fenimore Cooper (published ~1826), I ran into some dialog written in French spoken by a French soldier. I was waiting for one of the characters to explain what had been said, but it never happened. Then it hit me. PEOPLE READING THIS BOOK ARE ASSUMED TO BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND FRENCH!!! We are all modern morons.
Last of the Mohicans is just wonderful, especially if you live in upstate NY where it takes place. The English is complex; 80 words just to say, "The forest was quiet." Great read.

Why is there so much attention paid to Propecia when people with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) are taking Proscar with 5x the dose of finasteride? Maybe there are many more people on Propecia than Proscar. I am one of those lucky ones. The side-effects are not good and I'm off to the doc again... On the other hand, this is a brilliant drug since you have to take it for 6 months to tell if it works and by then it is too late. How do you prove the drug caused anything bad if the effects don't go away when you stop taking it? I don't care about a lawsuit; I just want to be back to "normal".

Well OK, but try taking 5x your amount. That is what those of us on Proscar are doing. I have noticed something, but it's hard to prove cause and effect when the effect doesn't go away when you stop taking the stuff. In Sweden and Italy there are sexual side effect warnings on finasteride, but not in the US.

I am taking finasteride (Proscar) for an enlarged prostate and have noticed a seriously reduced sex drive. I think Propecia and Proscar are the same drug. My doctor did not seem to want to blame this drug for my symptoms. When I brought up the possibility of low testosterone, he said it was normal to have a reduction due to aging and this reduction had some benefit in reducing the chances of cancer. I am seriously in the doghouse with my wife! Some real data and scientific info would be helpful. I cannot blame the drug without some backup.

Not all CCD sensors can do video. Full-frame devices, which have been used in consumer cameras and are still used in high-end high-res large format cameras, need a shutter and typically do not provide video output. Keep in mind the patent is from 10 years ago. If X*r*x can patent a switch on a copier that lets you put the same size paper in two paper trays, then this patent is quite non-obvious in comparison. Given my experience getting patents at Kodak, their patent bribery system is not very effective! Disclaimer: I am a former Kodak employee and know both the people who wrote this patent.
