Hell, I'll vote for that. As a child, back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, I always used to beg to be allowed a go on the machine in my local shoe shop. Strangely (I thought at the time), the assistants always had some excuse why I could't use it.
Maybe the damn thing just didn't work and was "for display purposes only", but now I'm glad I didn't get my feet repeatedly irradiated for the fleeting pleasure of seeing a crappy green foot shaped blur on the little screen.
I, too, am one of the people having given up using RSS, and just reading stuff from the websites. Finding a lot of other/.ers have done the same has enabled me to enter the New Year feeling uber-cool. And slightly smug.
Birds do not have the training to immediately change their position after singing. If this robot was programmed to recognise birdsong it could immediately pinpoint and call fire onto the birds position.
Trees would no longer be a safe haven for these avian bio-terrorists.
This software was unable to find the biro on my desktop. I had to search for it manually and eventually found it on the floor behind a piece of pizza crust.
Does anyone have a torrent of Caruso v1.0? I would like to upgrade my ability to speak few words, but with melodramatic pauses in between them while simultaneously either donning or removing my sunglasses.
I would like the add-on Hummer pack too, if poss.
