Every year when a hurricane is bearing down, the news channels have a little piece on how to hook up an antenna to your TV set or adjust reception or whatnot.
Regardless, when everything else is out you're glad for anything. Most people around here were just getting by on radio for weeks or even months afterwards...
I tried this out after one of the ads for it. Free to get into. Crappy graphics, at that level why bother being 3D, but hey, at least its functional.
You get your choice of a few starter outfits and things, all of which are the equivalent of the starter n00b armor in WOW or some other MMORPG because they immediately label you as such. To improve your gear, or hairstyle, or whatever... you don't quest for it like in WOW, you have to pay, as in real $$. Not to a real account, but I mean for the actual items. I think they gave you a pittance to start with.
I didn't stick around long enough, but I thought there might be some other way to accumulate money, such as selling things to other players (again for real $$).
because it is also the worst food to eat period. (if you're not familiar with it count yourself lucky, it is fish reduced to a gelainous state by soaking it in Lye).
You want to listen to a sound file, click on it to listen to it.
All bootup sounds do is make you tired of a soundfile you used to like, while making it take longer to boot your system.
THat was the blurb.
Six rebels. I got a bit worried at first. In the trailer, the only ones I saw were:
1 - Mal
2 - Zoe
3 - Wash
4 - Jayne
5 - Dr Tams
6 - summer
Now.. I know Kaylee is in the movie. She talked about it at Dragoncon last year (even noted how she was much thinner in the movie than in the TV show and was worried Josh would make her put it back on but he ended up letting it go). And I've read that Book was also signed for it.
So I guess the six are Mal, Zoe, Wash, Jayne, Book and Kaylee, with that blurb not counting the other two.
Don't know if anything changed since then, but at the Firefly panel at Dragoncon last year, Nate and Jewel both said that this was the final firefly project (said it wasn't up to them)...
Combines the best elements of both?
Seriously, though, we just lost a shuttle crew last time it was up and you're complaining that it focuses too much on safety?
Sounds like a plan for a series of protests against this policy, if people feel strongly enough about it. Pick a day, and a time, and forget your passport. Have literature on each of your cars... (I think it would work better at land crossings where you can tie up more people)...
You do realize they sold out back in the late 50s.. Jim Henson created muppet commercials for Wilkins Coffee starting in 1957, making over 300. http://www.kermitage.com/html/collectibles/rarestu ffnew/page1.html

(reference to last summer, when Miami-Dade filed more claims for hurricane damage than the counties that were actually hit by the storm).
That's all that really matters.
Ah, but it could be a recessive gene...
best 2 out of 3?

are up to over $250 dollars for a pair for the DC show.
Windows patches more stuff in a couple weeks than other OS's patch in an entire year!

and one hell of a chess player...

I always wonder why you can't overclock the hell out of chips in the cold vaccuum of space...
Patent it now
Buy a piece of land. And wait.
crossover between a group of fanatical devotees with extreme zeal.... and the left-behind people...

They are way out of date for where I am as it doesn't have any of the post hurricane stuff from last summer.
I can already see having a thing which shift gears and moves to a different playing card to keep the sound appropriate.
Then I'm all in favor it. Dr. Twister will need to find a new place of exhile...
Cutriss, you are hereby found guilty of duping my comment! 30 days!
isn't based in New Zealand. Hell they'd have locked up half the crew by now....
